The building is a lot older than what appears in the photo ! You can see mold in the showerhead, the bathroom was not really dirty but definitely not clean either (marks on the mirror and tablet).
The lobby doesn't look at all like what is displayed in the photos here. They now have a coffee shop on the 1st floor. The coffee is very good although a bit pricey.
The location is very convenient. There is a very popular bar with live music just next door. Great for a good time. Not great for the sound in the evening :)
Overall, it was very pricey for the quality... For a lower price and if the pictures were up to date, I wouldn't mind.

We chose this hotel for its location and were not regreted. It is within five minutes' walk from the ruined temple and there is a mini bus stop to Bangkok opposite to this hotel. There are a few bars and restaurants nearby and a 7-11, which is a big plus. It is a hostel for backpackers, so you have to manage your expectation. But you will get what you pay for. Balancing all factors, including price, I will rate it 8 out of 10.

Good. The walkway up to the building is a little narrow, but it's passable.

Not very clean, the bathroom is old and smells musty. The sound from the liquor store below was loud. There is a 7-Eleven nearby and a van terminal.

The price/performance ratio is very high and the sanitary environment is very good.

Good, but the room is a bit small.

The first night we arrived it was really loud because of the bar/disco next door.
It was hard waking up since there was no window in our room.

The place was really cheap, but in the end we wished to have paid a little more for a nicer place.

The Host was helpful and able to unserstand English.
There is a nice Chillout Area with Couches and a place to work.

If you are searching for a lively, cheap place and you are not looking to spend any time in your room anyway - then it's your place.

Cheap and close to the ruins, this hostel is a nice place to stay for a few nights to visit Ayutthaya. Staff is very helpful: they booked us a nice evening boat tour and allowed our luggage to be stored after checkout.
We slept in a deluxe double room, with a private bathroom.
The bed is squeaky and quite hard, but clean and our room was spacious. The only downside was the slightly grubby bathroom, toilet was clean though.

The main flaw in this Hostel is the staff. They seemed much more interested in watching TV or using a computer upstairs than providing any assistance to customers.

As a result of the terrible staff, the Hostel is really unclean and messy. The aesthetic of the Hostel has been thought through, however it's dirty and bins are overflowing. We also received a towel that was 'heavily soiled'!

I wouldn't recommend to anyone. The place next door Sleepaholic seemed much nicer when we got a coffee and breakfast and the staff were very pleasant in comparison

We stayed in a double room here for 3 nights, the hostel was generally OK - communal areas were nice and the staff were friendly. It's in a good location and you can easily cycle from here to the ruins. Unfortunately our room wasn't very clean and there was an aweful smell coming from the shower plug, hence 4 stars.
