Yaks House Hostel in Bangkok

I was in town for Valentine's Day to arrange flowers for work, and it was my first time staying in a dorm room for just one night. I checked in super late 🤣 everyone else in the room was already asleep. There was a bit of noise from people coming down the stairs. I got the top bunk (the bed order was on the wall, I only saw it when I peeked behind a curtain looking for my bed number 😂). The staff member who checked me in that day was so lovely! I was a bit brain-dead from work, but she was all smiles and super helpful.

Based on reviews I'd read, it can get a bit stuffy with the curtains closed, so if you're sensitive to heat, I recommend bringing a mini fan like I did; it really helps! It gets cooler later at night anyway. The breakfast was delicious too. It gets a bit busy between 8-9 AM, and the staff might forget an order or two since they make it fresh. I had the minced chicken congee with shiitake mushrooms, which was tasty. The bathroom also had soap, shampoo, and cotton buds. Overall, it was great, really great. Public transport passes by, and it's not a long walk to the hotel. If I go back, I'd definitely stay here again!

It was ok for 3 nights, but location too far. 

Overall experience quite good. Location convenient near attractions area.

Great complimentary breakfast, clean, nice cafe, good staff, and nice location if one wants to explore Wat Arun, MBK mall, Central world, etc.

The atmosphere is great, clean, and not crowded. The staff provides excellent service, and importantly, there's parking available. Breakfast is also included. I will definitely come back again.
