Udee Bangkok in Bangkok

Quiet, clean, and friendly family business. Great place to stay if you want something more lowkey, a bit more upscale, and with more privacy than a traditional hostel. The owners are kind and helpful. Luggage storage and early check in are available. Keycards on the rooms, a lock on the door to the street, and lockers available, very safe and secure. There was a mini fridge in our room! And they gave us many free waters when we arrived 🤗 Complimentary coffee with kettle in the room as well. Also a lot of beautiful paintings on the walls. And a nice courtyard as well.

There are a lot of food places in the neighborhood, especially Japanese restaurants. The Saphan Khwai BTS Station (green line) is about a 15 minute walk away, Metro (blue line) 30 minute walk. Chatuchak Market and park are also within walking distance. Great place to stay if you have a train, bus, or van trip, it's a 10 minute Grab to Mochit 2 and Bang Sue.

My go-to spot in Bangkok. Udee is a great family-run place with spacious, comfy rooms. It's in a convenient location near the BTS and train station but sits on a quiet side street, so you get a great night's sleep. The owners are wonderful and always happy to help!

We had a nice experience here. Booked at the last minute due to scheduling issues with our train to Chiang Mai. Owners were very accommodating. You will have everything you need here - from laundry services to a car ride to the airport or train station.

For people who are catching a train from Bang Sue Grand Station, I recommend booking a night here after staying in Central Bangkok. You will have more predictability with the traffic congestion!

Found this on Booking. Com. It was a nice surprise. Very calming venue tucked away in a neighborhood lined with small restaurants and shops. I was walking distance from the chatachak market and the metro station. The room was clean and comfortable, with a kettle and coffee for the morning.We will be staying there whenever we get back to Bangkok.

A lovely hotel hiding in soi Pradipath 19. When you step into this place, you can feel the homie vibe, like visitting a garden in your neighbor’s house.
I booked for the Standard Double Room, so it’s quite small but very cozy, also the room is very clean and looks very new although the hotel is opened for 17 years!
The vibe here is very peaceful, suitable for everyone who needs to relax and take some rest. There’s also near to BTS Sapankwai, and there’re a lot of restaurants, cafes and street food carts, you can enjoy all of them :)
Last but not least, the owner is very kind and lovely! I’m very impressed about this, and will come back again for sure! 💓🐞💐

Comfy room, clean toilet, nice breakfast, near chatuchak market.

Stayed there twice during our trip in Thailand. Nice place. Very very clean, simple but very suffisant breakfast, good wife, very calm and super helpful and welcoming staff. It is not in a touristy neighbor hood which contribute for me to it's charm since you get to see "the real Bangkok" on your way back at night. It is a very reasonable walking distance from the sky train and we felt safe walking to the sky train station to the hostel even after sunset. Would definitively stay here 3rd time if I ever come back to Thailand.

Nice hostel a bit further downtown in Bangkok. Even though it is not in the touristy center, it has enough to offer. We had a double room, which was clean, had enough space and a modern feel to it. The staff and I reckon owner is nice and they all speak sufficient (up to good) English.
It is a decent walk to chatuchak market, an enormous market at a big park that is open during the weekends. Plus it has very nice restaurants in the neighborhood. When you arrive it looks as if you have booked a hostel in a bad backalley but the street here is used more than enough to not be a spooked place to go running to the door of the hostel.
The beds are very tolerable, or might I say for Thai standards soft and comfy ;) The breakfast is simple, but sufficient. You need to get everything yourself, which means you can go back as often as you like. You do need to do the dishes afterwards, which made me think of the some of the best hostels in Europe, so I didn't mind at all (good memories!). But if you want complete service do go for an expensive hotel, which are plentiful in Bangkok.
In short, considering the price and the place it is well worth your bahts! It is near the skytrain and many busstops, which makes it easy to go around. But if you are looking for a hostel which is near the Wat pho etc, this is probably not your thing.
