Beach Villa Phangan in Hinkong

We were so disappointed with our stay at Beach Villa Phangan that we cut our stay short. The apartment is okay, but everything is made of concrete and if you have to use the sofa bed, the room is too small for four people. We even had to go to the hospital because our daughter hit her head on the concrete bed and had to have her laceration stitched up. Later the manager wanted 1000 baht for the towel because her blood was on it... The beach is not nice at all, very small and full of garbage. There is no direct access to the pool, you have to walk a few steps on the road to reach it. The "playground" is dangerous for small kids with many broken things and the trampoline cannot be usef. The kitchen is not very well equipped and the stove took 45 minutes to scramble eggs... The apartment in general was clean, but we had to return pillows to the manager because they had strange stains... What bothered us the most was that the manager sent us messages via WhatsApp about how we should or shouldn't behave. I don't think he is a bad person, but as a manager in tourism you should have a certain service mentality. We cut our vacation at the Beach Villa short prematurely because we just felt uncomfortable. Neither agoda nor the Beach Villa refunded us the money (over 300 euros)

Room is spacious with nice views. But on this good things ends. Sofa looked like from trash (some other equipment also). Air conditioning seems not cleaned. Most surfaces not cleaned properly, with greasy stains. Place has some potential, but it is not well maintained. On our compliants we heard that its just our mindset, and they didnt agree to cancel/shorten our stay with refund.
