We tried to like it, but it was a bit hard. We had some uncomfortable experiences, one of them, a staff entering our room with no knock on the door, and no warning from the reception. He just locked himself in…. Very uncomfortable, my partner was in the shower??? What hotel does that.

Really great hotel, the sea is just 5 meters from the room. The breakfast is delicious and always varied. Housekeeping is good and they provide water for the room. We were happy with the price, 5000 rubles per night. The beach is fantastic, clean, and spacious.

We stayed at another resort on the beach but found everyday breakfast here during our two weeks excellent. 150 B per person buffet breakfast eat all you want. Great coffee and juices aswell. Mama Tim treated as like a true mother and her friendly staff were amazing and absolutely loveable. Great views from the tables, in fact nothing to complain about as we had looked at other eateries on the beach...

We were welcomed (or should I say unwelcome) to an extremely rude lady who struggled to find our booking for a good half an hour. We provided her with all necessary details (passports, booking numbers etc.) and did not receive even one apology for the delay in checking us in. We have since read the reviews to find our experience wasn’t at all unique! There are so many beautiful places to stay along...

We did not get the room we booked at first. However we did get cheap upgrade to a great bungalow with a nice view. The restaurant was not good at all and the breakfast service was poor. Customer service was poor.

Fantastic (absolute bargain) hotel right by the water. You can snorkel off the beach, and walk on a beautiful sand bar. Swimmers pool is huge with plenty of comfortable loungers. Lovely room, beach front for only 1500 baht. The waiter at the restaurant was very friendly and helpful. I feel bad about taking one star because the resort is lovely! We booked a seaview bungalow for 5 nights, and wow what a seaview it was from Bungalow 2 which is raised slightly and right on the beachfront. Lovely balcony with chairs and a table or you can just lie in bed and look at the sea or watch the amazing sunsets. Just note there are a lot of steps down to this bungalow so not suitable for young children, pushchairs or those who are unsteady on their feet...

If I could give Zama Resort 10 stars out of 5 I would. Just the most perfect idyllic little coastal resort with stunning views, the kindest most welcoming staff- and the rooms, just wow. It’s really the small touches that count, fruit on arrival, the softest towels, diffuser, insect repellant etc- all makes a tired traveller relax and settle in. We stayed here as a couple for 3 x nights at the end...

Everything was very nice! The Service was like from a different planet and the rooms that we had for ourrselves would host a family without issues.

The room is very spacious and there is even a hammock on the balcony. Also the food is delicious. The only problem was the noise as our room gave out to a well frequented road.

Nicest staff ever! Pool is beautiful and big, our poolside bungalow was also very spacious, the grounds are nice and the beach is a couple minutes walk. They cleaned our room daily and the breakfast included delicious Burmese food with western cuisine. We enjoyed a small beach party as well, every Wednesday.

A decent hotel on the beach, with parking for both bikes and cars. The staff is very helpful. There's a large pool. If you're lucky and there aren't any Israeli youths at the hotel, you'll have a great time. If you're unlucky, you'll either become a wise man or an anti-Semite.

While rooms are just average, having the long swim lane pool, an excellent location on the beach with great restaurants nearby, this is a wonderful slice of heaven for those who want to chill and relax! One of our favorite parts of our Southeast Asia vacation!

Stayed at the hotel for the second time. The renovation is even more outdated, the beds are hard, the bathroom is old. The reception staff was not very friendly, unfortunately. For one night ok, but next time, I will probably look for something else!

I am very glad that I chose this place for my vacation in Phangan. It is a quiet and very green complex. I could listen to the sounds of nature and walk a few minutes to reach the shops, cafes, and the beach. I spent 3 wonderful weeks in one of the cozy houses. Rainnie is incredible, she was very friendly and helpful, and responded to all my requests. I am very satisfied and will definitely return...

We stayed at Akuna more than 2 weeks. The location is very good, the place is really lovely. The villa we got is very comfortable, quiet and surrounded by trees. There is a great swimming pool and a gym equipped with everything you need. The staff is very nice and helpful. I recommend staying there.

Wonderful hotel and very friendly and nice staff. The houses are nice and clean, not noisy, there is a small kitchen and everything you need for cooking. There is a swimming pool and a gym. 5 minutes from the hotel there are many cafes, 10-15 minutes walk to the beach.

We stayed for 4 weeks with our 10 yo son and had an amazing time in Bounty. The rooms are simple, but super clean and the staff are all so lovely. There are three beaches whoch hou can reqch by foot in leas than 5 minutes. Food was also very good and we will come back for sure. Thanks a lot to the entire Bounty team.

Bounty employs rare, kind people who will do anything to help you. The food here is delicious and within five minutes you can walk to three (!) different beaches. The scooter rental right next to the resort is great. You can also reach various (other) restaurants within a few minutes' walk.

We love Malibu resort and Chaloklum. It seemed this time they wernt ready for guests as the pool wasn't clean and pool chairs were broken. Was all sorted out but we were leaving by then. We will be back though and are not upset. Was a great stay. Thanks

Quiet location on north of island but the room is very basic for the price. Even during the full moon party, this type of room should not be so expensive.

Malibu Beach Bungalows are absolutely stunning. The bungalows are cute and spacious, great air con amd massive bathroom. The pool was clean was clean and refreshing and the best part was the beach was literally a 2 minute walk across a little bridge. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay at The Memory. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with everything you need for a relaxing time in Koh Phangan. The restroom is not what you want, I’ve you are showering you almost are sitting on the toilet. The door from the room don’t close it’s entirely.

The hotel has its own flavor, but I would not recommend it. Small bungalows, green territory, close to the sea, very clean, tasty food, but the shower and toilet are a separate topic. It was expensive for such a hotel on our dates. The photos on the site correspond. There were no available on this date, so we chose it.

Basic amenities and excellent location.

Nice surroundings full of plants, located on the beach. Bungalows have a good concept and I like that, but the beds realy needs to be replaced. Old and worn out mattresses. Mosquito net over the bed comes really handy. Few friendly dogs roaming around. They are ok until they start to bark in the middle of the night 😂.

Wonderful location, we were given a free upgrade from a superior cottage to a beach cottage. Very special to have a view from our window right onto the beach. The photos don't do the rooms justice. Most super friendly staff and provide a great taxi service for the price it should be. They also have paddle boarding included. I stayed for a week at Benjamin’s hut and absolutely enjoyed my time here to the fullest. The accommodation inherits a big variety of green plants, three wonderful cats and has direct beach access with a café/bar/restaurant on the venue. Great value and a relaxing stay Stayed at Benjamin’s Hut for a few nights and it was perfect for the price. We booked 2 nights at Haad Salad Resort and ended up staying over a week — that pretty much says it all! It’s affordable, an easy walk to an amazing beach, and the family who runs it is genuinely lovely. Our room was cleaned regularly, breakfast was simple but nice (coffee, fruit, toast, water), and they had cheap scooter rentals right there, which made island life easy. Plus the location is perfect...

Very high standard of rooms and a very fun place. Very fun to be so close to the quiet sea, hearing the wind, the birds, blue water, blue sky. You don't need more than that in life.

Very reasonably priced accomodation within a five minute walk to the wonderful salad beach. A complimentary basic breakfast is offered here which was a great surprise to us. Fan bungalow was basic, clean and just what we wanted. Lovely little porch and some great shared chill out areas. The staff are delightful. If we are ever back on the island I hope we come here again

I was there for 5 nights. The rooms are nice and well equipped. The breakfast was great too. The staff is always very well disposed and courteous. The only drawback: I can't recommend the restaurant. I had two meals there and unfortunately I did not like it twice.

We stayed in the beach front bungalow with nothing but a coconut tree between our balcony and the ocean. Comfortable bed, great pool, great bar and restaurant and a nice and friendly staff. The only thing I would upgrade was the bathroom. It was quite bare and the water pressure was quite weak. So, bottom line: Highly recommended
