We stayed at the hotel for 2 weeks. We liked the beautiful large rooms with high ceilings and well-maintained grounds. Very tasty cuisine, especially pizza with truffles.

TLDR: It's not "luxury" at all (But they are trying). Would not recommend for solo travelers or for anyone who'll be renting a scooter, because of the road to the resort. Pros: Huge rooms. Nice pool. You get what you pay for. Great location with awesome access to the beach. Everything was as we expected; however, staff is rather reactive than proactive. It is a bit of a shame, as this place has so much potential. I would still recommend staying here for some nights and enjoying the local vibe through other places on the beach. It is good to take upper-floor rooms; they are more private.

Absolutely stellar experience at Sabaii Resort in Koh Pha Ngan, Thailand! When our AC wasn't cooling properly, they swiftly replaced it within three hours. Great location, especially some of the higher rooms where you get a view of the beach. The staff are friendly and attentive to our needs. Rooms were great with a mini kitchen if we needed and hot water (if we needed too). Away from the madness of Haad Rin so can’t hear club music, but depending on where your room is, you may hear some noise from the road. Would definitely stay here again!

Paweena is a great host, loved the stay. The morning view from the upper room is amazing, the sunset is beautiful. Some reviews said there’s no privacy, but the window glass has a privacy film so no one can really see inside. The room also was clean and had all the kitchen utensils needed for preparing meals for two.

Nice bungalow near the beach. It takes about 45 minutes to walk to Haad Rin (ful moon perty), but the road is uphill and difficult. Take a tuk-tuk, 100 baht per person. The air conditioner didn't work. On the same day they called a repairman and fixed it. Our bungalow did not have a refrigerator. When we asked to put our food in the refrigerator at the reception, we were refused.

We stayed for 5 nights and felt very comfortable. The shallow sea is ideal for children. In April the water temperature is like a bathtub. It is too shallow for ambitious swimmers. The restaurant is good. Very good breakfast.

The location is good, and the staff is friendly. However, the bungalow I got is not the same as on pictures. The room is really tiny (10 sqm, not 17), and the aircon is way too powerful for that size of the room. It's quite dark in the bathroom, and the water pressure in the sink is not good. There are was a drainage issue. The water would be standing in the washroom for a while before it drains. The staff is super friendly and helpful, so that was good. The climb to the bed requires climbing skills. Exercise daily, be in a good shape before booking this place.

A very peaceful, small resort on a beautiful beach. The rooms/huts are rustic, but very clean and offer all basic amenities. The pool is lovely and big enough that it never felt too crowded, with the swim up bar being a great touch. The restaurant offered tasty, fresh food. This place is pure heaven. The bay is the most beautiful beach on Koh Phangan and it’s not too busy. Everything you need for a quiet time is on this beach and available in the resort. Beach view bungalow a must have , rooms very basic and cleaner only comes into empty bathroom bin, people’s all really helpful though . Need transport .

Pretty much right on the beachfront with a lovely little garden and infinity to boot, the bungalows are cool and spacious and make the time on the island very relaxing with all the help of the wonderful staff.

The hotel is beautiful. The pool looking onto the beach is stunning. Reception staff are super friendly. Not great for solo travellers if you want a really social vibe and to meet people with activities etc, there is one dorm. The hotel hosts large groups of young travellers.
