Ton Tawan resort in Kood

Through detours, we "landed" at the Ton Tawan Resort, because we actually didn't want to book there because of the bad reviews. But we were more than pleasantly surprised:
The resort is now managed by a lovely family, especially dear Nookie. She made our stay super comfortable! Our room was clean, bright and friendly furnished. In the lower part of the bungalow we could have used the kitchen. (Interesting for people who stay longer.) Everything is very familiar and authentic here and Nookie went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. She made us super delicious breakfast and very authentic Thai food in the evening. She booked our onward journey and took care of our laundry. She tries to fulfill every wish of the guests. Due to Corona, this place, like currently every accommodation in Thailand, is not in top condition. That said, the pool isn't really intact and could do with some cosmetic repairs here and there. On my trip I have visited many accommodations with different standards and prices. That's why I don't include the fact that Corona has destroyed a lot in my assessment. Traveling to such insanely great places in Thailand may also mean taking responsibility for them. Thailand lives from tourism, Corona has threatened so many livelihoods!
Ton Tawan is a great family place with good vibes! The next dream beach is 5 minutes away by scooter.
