Such a quiet and private atmosphere! The staff really go above and beyond to take care of you. My room was clean and had everything I needed—I felt so recharged.
Also, the breakfast was amazing; it’s all-you-can-order, fresh, and very tasty. I’m really happy with my stay and can’t wait to come back!

My favorite resort out of the 4 I stayed in while in Koh Kood. Everything was exceptional, as described and so clean. Especially great is also the restaurant. Everything is tasty. It's the only resort where we ate at their restaurant, even before when we weren't guests at the resort. Definitely recommend.

Everything in this hotel was outstanding.
The rooms and other facilities were the cleanest during our stay in Koh Kood, you could eat off the floor.
It has a restaurant with an almost too big of a menu, from which every dish we tried was amazing, whether it be Thai or Western. The same restaurant will serve you breakfast à la carte, which is also amazing.
There is a café on the other side of the large resort terrain which is beautifully situated right at the rocky water.
The resort has a small private beach section right at the pier and lots of sun loungers spread out through the facility.
Kayaks, SUPs, snorkeling gear, beach volley ball and more can all be rented for free.
The rooms could be more private and the staff a bit friendlier/warmer.

My family spent a week and loved every minute of it!!! The food was outstanding and so affordable. Our kids are young and they love bed the restaurant. The snorkelling, sand toys paddle boards and kayaks made our stay so memorable. The rooms are stunning, well set up and in one of the most beautiful locations I have been to. The pool is fantastic and we enjoyed it hours a day and rarely had to share it with other guests.

We had an amazing stay at Shantaa Resort in Koh Kood. Everything exceeded our expectations—from the beautiful surroundings to the outstanding service. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile, which made us feel truly welcome throughout our stay.
The food was excellent, with a great variety and high quality in every meal. Each dining experience felt special and well prepared. The atmosphere of the resort was peaceful and relaxing, making it the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the island.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience and a place we would happily return to and highly recommend to anyone visiting Koh Kood.

Beautiful surroundings BUT the place is pretty grim - dirty & neglected. Horrible bathroom, grimy room, pool green with algae. Holes in the floor of the hut, AC broken, Sun loungers broken. The atmosphere was sad & run down. Hugely overpriced for what it is. Definitely not recommended

Beautifully situated in nature, basic bungalows. No refrigerator or safe in the bungalow. Too far to walk to the beach or snorkel. Scooter rentals are available. Nice pool, but difficult to get in and out of due to a poorly constructed ladder.

We are travelers and we are used to something. We therefore give an assessment adapted to the country. This cottage is old and dirty. You can smell the rotten wood and the bathroom is horrible. On Koh Kood you get a comfortable bungalow for this price. We therefore give this resort a 0. The staff at the reception are great, they get a 10, because they have to endure all those complaints at the reception. We are happy to be out of there, and are now in a luxurious comfortable bungalow by the sea for less money.

Avoid this hotel at all costs! We booked three nights, paying a high price for Thailand, and the photos were quite nice, so we expected a good experience. For 2700 THB a night, it's not worth it at all. Expect to sleep in a rather dilapidated wooden hut with a bed on the floor, no mattress, nothing to put your things on, no fridge, no kettle, nothing to dry your beach gear. A mosquito net is essential, otherwise, good luck! The bathroom is very basic: a shower and sink that drains under the bungalow... well, under the hut. For this price, it's really not in line with the cost. Avoid it at all costs; there are plenty of hotels with much better service for that price.

The accommodation was absolutely substandard. The bathroom was not only shabby, which would be a euphemism but it was literally in such poor condition that it was nauseating. Apart from that, it appeared that it wasn't cleaned for ages. The bedroom had a mattress on the floor No other seating arrangements or possibilities. No table etc. The floor was dirty and full of stains. The whole room allowed insects or other animals to come in. The outside was disgusting with a pond with horrible smelling brown water, allowing myriads of Dengue mosquitos to do their job. The whole place in a stage of dilapidation. Absolutely sickening. No one can stay there unless totally intoxicated. My daughter checked in and checked out after one hour. Of course no refund. I am now convinced that all the poor critics about this resort are correct.
