It's good. The food is delicious.

Great location on northern end of Bang Bao beach . Preferred southern end ourselves tho . I see a lot of complaints about bugs but the resort is built into what was obviously once a jungle . We didn’t have any problems with insects in our room but we didn’t leave with a couple of expected bites . Take bug spray for the afternoon sunset pics .

Breakfast was great . Never saw the housekeepers but our room was always cleaned well by the time we returned from exploring the island on the motorbike each afternoon . Bikes are 300 baht per day thru hotel but whole island ( including some of the resort staff ) are happy to rent out at 250 baht a day .

Amenities are satisfactory for this style resort and staff are very “ relaxed “ and friendly . Things move at island pace and when staff aren’t on their phones they are very attentive and helpful .

Wi-Fi strong however dinner music is more suitable to a dance party rave sometimes . I wouldn’t have liked a room next to the construction happening next door as jack hammering was constant all day 7 days a week . Fortunately our room was a fair way away from it .

Food was affordable enough depending on your choice but beer and cocktail pricing is way over the top . Get yourself to a mini mart to save yourself substantial baht if you like a drink . Patio in front of your room is a comfy place for an afternoon beer as they don’t even let you take your own water to the bar or restaurant . I say again … Get a bike and explore unless being waited on hand and foot ( for a price ) is your thing !

The atmosphere is still good, not that bad but the bridge is still broken and without any wood, as some reviews claim. The hotel has a small beach that you can walk to, but due to the low season, the wind was too strong, making swimming impossible.

The room wasn't very large, but the bathroom was too large. They should have expanded the bedroom space.
The water bottles were reusable so they had a slight odor.

Breakfast was ok, there were varieties of food like grilled pork with sticky rice, eggs choices, salad, bread, Thai dishes and coffee.

Overall, it's still a good value when visit if they have the promotion price but not recommend to visit for full price period.

The accommodation had a great atmosphere, cool breeze, and a nice view. You could watch Netflix in the room; I even watched several movies while it was raining. The mattress was a bit firm, you could still feel the springs. I stayed at two resorts on this trip, and both places on the island smelled like sewage.

Koh Khesar Nam, a hidden gem in Thailand. The water is crystal clear, the sand is fine and soft, and the pristine scenery is absolutely stunning—a true paradise away from the hustle and bustle. I'd definitely stay here again!

First thing you notice when coming to this resort is the beautiful beach view. Definitely an amazing sight and offers a great swimming experience. The waters are warm and calm, also boasting a very clear blue vibrancy.
Staff are friendly and will offer to carry to luggage to and from your room. Free breakfast is offered as a buffet with many options to choose from. Food is serviced until 8pm, while the bar stays open until 10pm. Prices are a little bit steep compared to local pricing, including for alcohol.

There is a large pool to bathe in if the beach isn’t your comfort, along with a very large selection of beach chairs to lay on. Quite a modern design resort front.
Rooms are also well designed, though the bathroom felt a little underwhelming. Still functions as intended.

Can get quite busy at the pool and bar at night, as well as busy during breakfast time. However if you’re ok with that, it’ll make for a fun and vibrant place to spend your time.

Amazing locations for a quite gateway. Food is delicious and a must try if you looking for authentic Thai food. Service is excellent with very kind and respectful staff. Highly recommended if you’re looking a resort vibe or a place to stay while you explore Kot Kood. Will come back!
