Kood, 5 Moo 5, Klong Hin Beach, Tambon Koh Kood 🧭 Map
It’s my first time for this resort. Good service and I seen some reviews before I booked room ,but It's not what I thought. I think this room type that I booked it’s clean accommodation after they have maintained . And now I seen they’re maintaining other rooms type 👍🏻👍🏻
I miss you already!!! At the beginning I was very scared when I read the negative comments however my experience was completely the opposite. I’m not sure if the hotel changed management but I spent a great time there. The staff is extremely nice, they always took care of me and my needs. The staff even helped me to arrange my transportation to Koh Kood. They also provided me with fresh water at the...
Staff went above and beyond, one of which sits on the beach daily taking care of people on the beachfront, offering towels, bringing fresh and cold drinking water, and I even saw him spot a man having trouble with his snorkel masks (provided free alongside kayaks- and a see through one too!) and within seconds he was there giving them a new one! 10/10 service from all members of staff, always with...
Had an incredible stay here. The staff were beyond exceptional, the beach although littered on both sides is beautiful in front of the hotel. Good for some casual snorkelling and kayaking all of which, you are provided. Would highly recommend a stay here!
First of all, they are in the midsts of renovations. The pool, reception and restaurant all had a make over. As well as the rooms. It feels impressive and the location near the beach is awesome. You get a bottle of wine, water, fresh and new towels and the sunbeds and kayak are new and free of charge. Breakfast could be better, price is too high if you have to pay. The staff is very friendly but they...
Beautiful location and very well kept grounds. Swimming pool needs some attention with tiles missing and water quality not great. Rooms are spacious with good AC. Beach bar for the hotel serves good food but a little over priced. All that said I would still recommend this hotel.

It's good. The food is delicious.
Great location on northern end of Bang Bao beach . Preferred southern end ourselves tho . I see a lot of complaints about bugs but the resort is built into what was obviously once a jungle . We didn’t have any problems with insects in our room but we didn’t leave with a couple of expected bites . Take bug spray for the afternoon sunset pics .
Breakfast was great . Never saw the housekeepers but our...
Visit there in September 2025.
The atmosphere is still good, not that bad but the bridge is still broken and without any wood, as some reviews claim. The hotel has a small beach that you can walk to, but due to the low season, the wind was too strong, making swimming impossible.
The room wasn't very large, but the bathroom was too large. They should have expanded the bedroom space.
The water bottles...
First of all, neither the online chat admin nor the receptionist didn't try to assist with my problem booking before stay at all.
Thank you for let me in early.
The beach, swimming pool, bar, restaurant and food was amazing and tasty but for small beer quit dear.
the room is nice, specially tv can watch Netflix or YouTube BUT the mattress was terrible, seems like the springs can get through the...
The accommodation had a great atmosphere, cool breeze, and a nice view. You could watch Netflix in the room; I even watched several movies while it was raining. The mattress was a bit firm, you could still feel the springs. I stayed at two resorts on this trip, and both places on the island smelled like sewage.
Koh Khesar Nam, a hidden gem in Thailand. The water is crystal clear, the sand is fine and soft, and the pristine scenery is absolutely stunning—a true paradise away from the hustle and bustle. I'd definitely stay here again!

Best beach so far , no pool but understandable that the beach is perfect.
No welcome drink or impression over first time arriving ,not staff itself , I meant the view the office the entrance not attractive at all. Breakfast was cold but nice Thai style. Many tourists , loads of Mosquitoes , in my room can fits up to 3 people, funny that I can’t fall asleep because the air con made the weird noise...
The rooms were clean and the staff were lovely, helpful, and provided a lot of information to guests. The atmosphere was good and the sea was beautiful.
The bay where the hotel is located is very beautiful, the beach is gorgeous. We stayed in a category A cabin. All of them are on the first line with a sea view. The bathroom has been recently renovated. There's a large step in the room, and in the dark, you could fall. The bathroom light only turns on with all the other lights in the room. Breakfasts are good. In the evening, the only place to eat...
The view here is absolutely amazing — I love watching the sun, sea, and sky slowly change until dawn. They also offer a one-hour kayak program to enjoy the moment. 🌅🌴🥥🛶
the room has some bugs in the bed but have a really big toilet inside the room. all rooms are near the beach.
the view is super great. Amazing
We found much to appreciate about this establishment - from the overall atmosphere to the quality of most of the staff. However, we did experience a few concerns regarding the extra bed charge and the demeanor of the concierge staff, which lacked the courtesy one would expect in a service-oriented environment. The rest of the team, on the other hand, was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and polite...

For the price very decent stay. Rooms are a bit outdated but service and location were very good. Also scooter rental was easy and fast. Beach is nice and the breakfast is good.
The hotel is located on the amazing Ao Tapao beach, with a gorgeous sea. We stayed in a room in the two-story building, just a couple of minutes from the beach. There are also bungalows, which are closer. The room was a bit worn but clean and spacious. We rented a motorbike from the hotel; it was also a bit tired, and there wasn't much choice. Given the elevation changes on the island's roads, we would...
Çok güzel bir plajı var, Pizzalar harikaydı, canlı müzik süperdi.
Simply an excellent hotel, but keep in mind it's on an island. The hotel has 30 bungalows and 44 rooms in the building near the entrance. We called it a 'dorm' after one of the bloggers. The hotel is located on a gorgeous beach with perfect sand and crystal-clear water. The grounds are beautiful and lush with greenery. There's a swimming pool (we don't use pools). Plenty of sun loungers are available...
Nice beach. Friendly staff. Good live music in the evenings. They responded immediately to our request to clean the air conditioner. There are ants in the room though.
We won’t be back!
Hotel Building- the hotel itself looks ok, I agree with other comments that the pool is strange. The beach is nice enough but the monstrosity of a concrete pier next to it spoils the whole paradise view. The beach was filled with people smoking **** the first night we arrived. They played continuous tacky Christmas songs at breakfast.
Room- we stayed in a garden view bungalow which...

We have just spent 4 wonderful weeks here in “Greenery 2”. The location is perfect, the atmosphere is friendly, our natural cottage room was well equipped ,clean. Also would be cleaned with towels, linen etc. replaced every day if wanted. (Although not necessary). In terms of “value” the restaurant and bar prices are 10-40% higher than most places. The whole resort including the grounds are very clean...
We stayed over New Year and had a lovely time. They put in a huge effort with entertainment (live band) and activities. Chilled tables under a lovely big tree with the ocean next to us, christmas lights etc. Food was incredible. The owners are unique and you will see the old guy at breakfast who is the owner. He is there to make sure you have a good breakfast experience. The best room option is...
The hotel was very responsive to emails and queries before my stay. It’s off the beaten track, which was exactly what I wanted for a more authentic, less touristy experience. Getting there takes some time — a short flight to Trat (or a 4-plus-hour drive), followed by a 45-minute transfer from Trat Airport to the pier, an hour-long boat crossing, and then a further 30-minute drive to the resort, with...
Absolutely outstanding experience from beginning to end!
Everything at this resort is perfectly organized, you really feel taken care of the moment you arrive until the day you leave. The entire staff speaks excellent English, is incredibly friendly, professional, and always welcoming. You are genuinely greeted with smiles everywhere you go 😊

Just finished a 2 night stay here and really wish it would have been more. Everything was fantastic and more than we expected.
I booked 2 days before the check in so did pay a premium and the only room left was a tropical hill villa with private pool. It was worth it just for the bed if I'm honest. Most beds in Asia seem to be closely related to concrete, but not here. Here the bed was like a...
We stayed at three different hotels during our time on Koh Kood, so I’m writing this based on comparison. The Natural Beach Resort is located in Bang Bao, one of the nicest and most sheltered bays on the island. Even on windy days the water stays calm, which was a big plus. The sunsets here are amazing too — the sun sets right in the middle of the bay.
What really stood out for us was the staff. They...

Wonderful island, wonderful hotel. The sea was magnificent! 😍 Food was standard, but they did have seafood sometimes. In the evenings, we dined at a local restaurant.
Gorgeous place! Absolutely everything was delightful: room cleaning, the staff, good breakfasts, and the dinners at the hotel restaurant were superb. I'll definitely be back, it's love ❤️
An unforgettable place. There's harmony and comfort in every square meter here, a beautiful beach, and everything is just excellent. It's a hotel you want to return to right after checking out!
Easy to get to from the port.
Upon arrival nice greeting and drink- the kids liked it. Room allocated quickly and the person who met us was great.
Beach is excellent- sunset is beautiful. Pier great to jump from.

It is very nice to have an exclusive beach to watch the sunset. There are swings. The hotel restaurant is also delicious and not expensive. There is a Mogatha. The room is quite large but the facilities are average. The hygiene is okay and the service staff is friendly.
In the picture of the resort, I thought it would be bigger, but when I actually went, the room might be a bit smaller than in the picture. But overall, it was clean and the food was delicious. 🥰🥰

I would give 10* if I could! What gem this hotel is. It only has 15 bungalows 8 beach front and 7 behind with pools. Location is ideal, on a beautiful bay/beach. Short walk to restaurants and bars (low key). We had a beachfront villa- highly recommended. The villas are well equipped with a huge shower but are a bit tired around the edges (as it seems a lot of resorts are in Koh Kood).

Perfect getaway resort on Koh Kood
Vi bodde i en beach villa, direkt access till stranden. Fantastisk villa med väldigt skön atmosfär. Vi gillade resorten och att det var lungt och inte så stort ställe. Fantastiskt läge på en mycket fin strand.
Such a beautiful hotel. Lovely rooms with either a private plunge pool or right on the beach. Comfy beds, good showers, spotlessly clean. The staff are brilliant, so friendly and helpful - special thanks to Li and Noht. The best thing is the location, right on one of the island's best beaches, soft white sand, gentle warm sea, and perfect sunsets. Easy to get about the island, plenty of restaurants...
Overal the property need renovation..The hotel is a bit crowded and I was bothered by people from the beach who were moving freely around the resort. The resort is not cheap and you want privacy for your money. The staff is the best I have ever met in Thailand. I would definitely like to come back.

We had a very good three night stay at Medee. The rooms were very nice and the staff were exceptionally friendly. The resort has a private section of the beach that is great to relax on and they also offer free kayak hire.
A pleasant hotel. We stayed in the very last row of bungalows, which are practically brand new. The bungalow itself has everything you need: a refrigerator, a safe, and hot water. The beds are comfortable. Two minor drawbacks: the air conditioning is very noisy and powerful for such a small house, and the breakfast is very poor. The grounds are well-maintained. The beach and sea are magnificent.
Great location. The only thing I'd like is a beach bar like the one at the neighboring hotel and an open path to the nearby pier! Otherwise, everything's fine; breakfasts are okay.
The staff and the owner are super nice and kind. best hotel ever we will come back!
the room is nice and tidy, just the packaging is small. the breakfast is delicious the beach is beautiful and the scooters are also suitable for the island! we would definitely come back!
This was our stay on Koh Kood. Absolutely zero complaints. The is a cabin/bungalow stile place. They are small, but very nice. Nice soft bed with a pretty big shower. Wonderful beach, there are bungalows right on the sand. Though you'll have about a 5-minute walk along the boardwalk to get to breakfast then.
I loved staying here so much so that I came back a week later and stayed for another 4 nights. This resort has everything you need. A private beach fantastic snorkelling I saw a turtle !!!
Breakfast is abundant !! The resort has so many nice locations for IG hotshots!! My pictures below gives you some ideas!! I

We stayed in the furthest bungalow without air conditioning but with a fan. It wasn't hot at all; we only turned on the fan during the day. The breakfasts were excellent, and the hotel has its own private bay with a beach and corals along the rocks. There's also a private pier where you can fish or arrive by boat.
I decided to stay at this hotel several years ago, and finally, it happened! I'm so glad I picked such a wonderful place. The grounds, with all the bungalows, are perfectly laid out. Lovely place, beach, food and crew. Some of the builings could use som maintenance.

This is my favorite hotel on the island. The beach is excellent, with sun loungers, a massage parlor, and a café-bar—everything is nearby. The cottages are cute and have everything you need for a relaxing stay, though you can clearly hear your neighbors. The breakfasts are delicious; the hotel cooks very well. I'm happy with everything.
Good location if you like peace and quiet, royal breakfast (buffet), only problem is that you can hear the neighbor's room
The service of the reception was very very good!!the room we rent was one part of a double house , the balconnies were straight to each other and there was only a door (!!!!) between the two units. No privacy at all. The beach was very nice and very near by.
Pretty beach. Quiet and out-of-the-way location (scooter rental essential for leaving the resort)
The accommodation is of varying quality and maintenance.
Thanks to our reservation for a long stay, we were lucky enough to be upgraded to a bungalow
Stunning view! The resort is located at the middle of Ao Phrao beach which not crowded and very beautiful. The staffs were friendly and nice. The room was a bit old but very clean and well maintenance. The food price is not expensive and tasted good. The only thing I don’t like is that it took almost an hour drive from the pier.

Overall, we had a good stay. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit, which made the experience pleasant. One thing to note is that if you want both a sea view and a private pool, you need to book one of the pool villa room types. Otherwise, there isn’t a public swimming pool available for guests. Knowing this in advance would help set the right expectations when choosing a room.
My husband, friends, and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. Everything was great, though it's a shame the pool is only in the private area. Things to know beforehand: the hotel is very remote, and there's a longtail shuttle to get back to the main island. Everything is a bit dated, especially the bathroom.

No fridge to put water in room very expensive for what it is no tv. After hotel in koh mak wich was like a palace beautiful and lot cheaper, I affraid captain Cook was a let Down to the holiday
It is a very relaxing place. It is recommended to stay for 2-3 days. We went there for too many days this time. The menu was the same for three meals a day, which was a bit greasy. I really liked the beach and the sea, despite the fact that there was a wave by lunchtime. Well-kept grounds, lots of greenery, the rooms are so-so, but if you go for 3-7 days and if you don’t pick on things, then everything is fine!
Overall, I can't say anything bad about the hotel. We arrived from the pier around 1:00 PM and were checked in within 20 minutes. The rooms are simple but cozy. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. Kayaks are free, but paddles require a 100 baht deposit. The beach has plenty of sun loungers and shade, a shower, and a foot wash. The breakfast restaurant is open from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM; the...
Great location on the southernmost beach of Ko Kood. Spacious and very clean bungalows with equally clean bathrooms. Good value for money. Large selection of food at moderate prices. We weren't so impressed with the breakfast...quite monotonous. No ice cream, no cocktails. If you're looking for peace and quiet on the (supposedly) most beautiful beach of Ko Kood, this is the place for you.
I was in this hotel 14 years ago. Since then I have dreamed of returning. Almost deserted beach, sea and sand, like flour - complete relaxation. You can say that the rooms are small, but why sit in the room in such a place. Of the shortcomings, I can mention the lack of a kettle. But you need to understand that when we were on the island for the first time, there were no roads and the air conditioners...

I don't like to write reviews because I think everyone creates their own memories from their vacation... For my third stay on Koh Kood, I would like to write a review of the To the sea resort... Thank you in advance for the wonderful 3 weeks spent at this place. Serious and great communication from the beginning. We got the room that we chose a year in advance. The rooms are simple, of course it would...
a lovely little resort a great place at a good price. The rooms are lovely the staff attentive and the food very good. the turtles are friendly on the beach. happy hour cocktails..
There were too few sun loungers on the beach and the breakfast selection was limited! However, the bungalows were very nice and clean!
The whole island is feeling the hostilities between Cambodia & Thailand. Stupid wars. Any how, you’re on an island with waves hitting the shore line, perfect weather, palm trees. An excellent scenario for a chill island getaway. Walking around the beach music is chill, when there’s even music. Here at To The Sea, at the beach bar, techno pop club music pumping out at 3 in the afternoon. Total turn...
Sea view. If you get a room near the pig and goat pens, when the wind blows it smells really bad. But the hotel understands and moves you to another room.
Location and site is absolutely stunning. Crystal clear water, paradise I would say. Free sup- boards and kayaks. Rooms are average, clean but a bit dated. Breakfast is okey, quality could be better. Staff is super friendly, but they hardly speak any english, but man they try. One guy in the restaurant and few in reception speaks english. But they always serve with the smile. Food was ok, nothing...

Matteo is a great host with surprising recommendations and services which makes your stay pleasant and comfortable. We felt like home
Perfect for self catering. Don't expect a hotel type service. If you need anything Mr. Chang helps quickly and efficiently. As all places on the island you will need a motorbike unless sitting in one location is what you want then it's not for you. Motorcycle organised and boat tickets etc by Mr. Chang.
The rooms are clean and simple with comfortable mattress and air con. It's lovely and quiet here...
Great bungalow with lots off space, nice and quiet natural surroundings and good quality restaurants near by.
Self-catering house with 4 rooms, pricing is good, but no other service. In a quiet area of Ko Kud. Need scooters to get around. In walking distance to restaurants for meals.
Clean house, spacious rooms, cool air conditioner, hot water, kitchen utensils for cooking. Excellent service owner
Very nice house and rooms.
Everything is working and clean. Washing machine, kitchen equipments, everything was there. 4 comfortable rooms
With air conditioners, big living room, 2 bathrooms, huge terrace.
The owner was very polite and friendly.
Definitely will come back.
