Cosi Ao Nang in Ao Nang

The service was great! 👍 There's a 7-Eleven right across from the hotel and plenty of food options downstairs. It's really convenient. The hotel is also clean and not humid at all.

Pros:
- Strategic location, easy access to multiple well known restaurants by walk. There's a 7-eleven just right opposite.
- The 100baht food credit is quite convenient to grab something to eat if you have tour early morning. For meal box type have to order at the counter by 8pm a day before.
- Water heater functioning well and constant.
- International socket provided beside the bed
- Good hair dryer with high fan speed and temperature adjustment
- Comes with bathroom LED mirror, suitable for makeup
- Staffs are friendly

Cons:
- The space to walk within the room is quite small, my knee hit the bed frame twice during my stay on the same spot, and it's bruised and swollen :")
- The meal box food ordered a day before is cold (not warm) hence lost the original food taste. Hope to have at least a microwave to heat it before serving.
- Shower's water pressure can be improved
- No slippers, basic toiletries amenities provided. Only a 2-in-1 body and shampoo in the bathroom.

The hotel itself really good the staff is excellent

I stayed at Cozy Crabby for six nights as a solo traveller. Overall, I had a good experience and enjoyed my stay, mainly because of the fantastic location and the friendliness of the staff.

The hotel is extremely central and lively, with plenty of clubs, bars, restaurants, and shops right on the doorstep. It’s right in the middle of everything, which makes it perfect if you want to enjoy the nightlife and the buzz of the area. The beach is also only about a 10-minute walk away, which was really convenient.

The staff were one of the highlights of the stay. Everyone I interacted with was very friendly, polite, and helpful, which made the experience feel welcoming and comfortable.

As a solo traveller, I originally hoped the hotel would be a place where it would be easy to meet people, maybe by the pool or in shared spaces. However, the pool area is quite small and generally very quiet. The seating around the pool is mostly beanbags rather than proper sun loungers, and they aren’t the most comfortable for relaxing for long periods. Because of that, not many people tend to hang out there, and most guests seem to spend their time out on excursions rather than socializing at the hotel.

My suggestion I would make is that the hotel could do a bit more to help solo travellers connect. For example, they could organise casual meet-ups in the cafeteria or common areas for guests who are travelling alone. It might help people find others to join for excursions or activities and create a bit more of a social atmosphere.

I didn’t book breakfast, but I did have 100 thai BARTs credits per day to use at the snack bar, which was a nice option and gave some flexibility.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay. With a few small changes to encourage more social interaction, especially for solo travellers, it could be an even better experience.

A few minor things to improve but overall very nice hotel and location. We’d repeat.

The hotel was correct, location is good. The gym is ok but not amazing.

The location is quite convenient. It's easy to walk to the beach from the main street, and Monkey Trail is also within walking distance. Pick-up and drop-off services are available for island hopping and group tours.

The hotel has four buildings, located on opposite sides of the road. Buildings on the same side are interconnected, but you can't go between buildings across the road. We booked two rooms, but because they weren't under the same name, my family ended up in rooms in separate buildings, which was a bit awkward.

Toiletries are not provided, so you'll need to bring your own or purchase them. The room was small and not well-ventilated, so it had a strong smell when we entered. They also don't allow strong-smelling fruits like durian in the rooms. For breakfast, you need to pre-order a breakfast box the night before. Coffee and tea are available at the front desk.

The rooftop pool is great, and the kids loved it. It was very pleasant to relax and cool off in the evening. It gets very sunny during the day, but you can see the nearby mountains ⛰️.
