Rimlay Villas in Ao Nam Mao

This was not the paradise I hoped it would be. The place looks oké on the pictures but in reality it's dirty. The balcony and the pool needs cleaning. A lot of mould everywhere. The private beach in front of the resorts isn't suitable for swimming and looks ugly when low-tide. The manager is not friendly. Not once he asked if we enjoy our breakfast or our stay. Not even a 'Hello' or 'Welcome'. When we asked something his response always started with a 'sigh'! The women that made breakfast where very friendly though. The breakfast itself was very good too. Especially the pancakes. (Ask if she can add bananas ?) I hope the place wil fix things so it can be the great place that it was, I asume..

Would be an awesome place with care and maintenance and a conscientious manager/receptionist who has regard for all patrons who check in. He still has to learn the skill of welcoming people of all color and being cordial, taking the initiative to be helpful. Information provided to us about public transport was inaccurate. He was dismissive when we asked questions. Reception locked all the time and attention bell did not work.

The rooms are awful: raw, mould, old stuff, the half is broken. The sockets are broken so dangerous. They try to change the smell of mould and chemistry with room flavouring. The restaurant is closed at all so there's no breakfast. The service does not work properly: they do slowly or they don't. The pool is dirty. There was an impression the low number of bad responses is because of clean people just go out as soon as they see the actual state.

A disappointing place.no restaurant there. have to walk almost a kilometre. they claim of restaurant 200 metres which is Not true. no staff except one!
I booked for 3 nights and after one night i left the resort though I lost the booking cost.
it's the most inconvenient place i ever stayed.
it's fo course scenic. but then I felt im in a no-mans land!
if you are in a group and mobile with a vehicle it may be different.

The view is lovley.but the place is very run down filthy unwashed curtains in our And our friend room the rooms should be aired they stink strongly of mould and dank it gets in your clothes,the bedding and pillows smell dank and is not good to sleep in.pool is filthy with a black greasy scum line so think you can scrape it off!!!.lazy staff not cleaning.dirty balcony.dirty Sandwash around the pool.not like pictures on booking.comwe were very disappointed as it looked nice.would not recommend or stay again.room smells like old 1 star backpackers room had to wash all our clothes at next hotel as they stunk.Pool lights don't work chairs dirty and broken .this resort needs maintenance it's a shame when you see what it once was like.The only plus is the. View.book elsewhere is my advise if you want a fresh room and clean pool.
