The room was clean and bright with a comfortable bed. We had a sofa in our room which was nice when the balcony got too hot. The room comes with a reusable water bottle which you can refill yourself in reception.

A magnificent resort on the edge of one of Koh Jum's most beautiful coves, with rocks, sand, and crystal-clear water. Let me start by saying that upon arrival we learned about an upgrade to our room category. Thank you very much. The hotel itself is very green, cozy with white bungalows. A nice pool with cool water. We had a lovely sea view bungalow. Very modern and clean. We loved the beach location and walking distance to beach, bars and restaurants. The only downfall was the quantity of sunbeds by pool area T

HIGHLY recommend Horizon Beach Resort Koh Jum. We stayed in the deluxe sea view bungalow. This was the nicest accommodation we stayed at during our month in Asia. The rooms were CLEAN, even to my standards and the staff is so kind. The island is so quiet and peaceful, with countless restaurants nearby.

We are well travelled in Asia and have stayed in many different types of accommodation and bungalows. We love rustic but this resort could really do with a bit of TLC both in the rooms and the grounds and the food could have been presented better. The rooms are overpriced for the standard but I expect is the quality of comfy bed that has pushed the price up.

Sun Smile Beach Resort is probably as close to a Thai paradise as you can get. Wonderful atmosphere, friendly staff, fantastic massage, top service, nice beach and not least the FOOD!. After more than 15 trips to Thailand and a total of more than a year here, I can only say that the food here is overall the best we have experienced in Thailand. Even the simplest vegetable or noodle dish tastes amazing...

As close to paradise as you can get. Sun Smile is an absolutely wonderful place. You can stay in simple bungalows with fan and sea view or luxuriously in the front row with AC, fridge and water. Beautiful place with beach view. The rooms are comfortable with nice balcony to look at the beach. Only thing is that internet connection is not stable. Therefore, do not plan much home office from there. Just go and relax.

A had an amazing stay in Ban Ban Bungalows. The family running the place is absolutely lovely and helpful. You can rent a bike or a scooter here to tour the island. The bungalows are beautiful and clean, and stand in the middle of a peaceful and calm garden. There’s also a beach very near.

The bungalows are simple, adequately sized, and have a terrace. Only cold water is available. There's a lovely, large garden, set back from the road, and it's quiet. It's about a 5-minute walk to the beautiful beach with a bar and other facilities offering good food. Excellent value and highly recommended.

This place is run by the most wholesome family. The accomodation is very spacious, clean and has everything you need plus a super lovely garden. The restaurant also has amazing fresh food - favorite were the selfmade noodles. Thank you so much to Maly and the wonderful staff!

The best location: in the center of the island. Near the best beach on the island, a lot of restaurants around. Wonderful garden at the territory 😍 Quiet and pleasant place. Friendly and polite owners. I really like Koh Jum island and this Bangalow and I hope to come here again.

Ban Ban Bungalows is a lovely familiar place to stay. The Bungalows are nice, clean and comfortable. The garden is full of butterflies, flowers and chicken. It is a total natural place. Take some earplugs with you as it can get noisy in the morning time ..

Best place for food and living on the island!

Staff and location were exceptional. The beach was incredible - monkeys, crabs sea eagles the lot!

Remote, jungle by beach vibes. Location is great (if difficult to get to). Rooms acceptable for price (like the veranda with sun loungers). Restaurant is over priced and poor quality - breakfast not great.

I would never recommend anyone to book this hotel! Even if the view is amazing and really easy access to the beach. 1. I’ve never been this disappointed over the none existing service, we tried to eat at the hotel restaurant a multiple times but no one wanted to take our order so after a while we ended up leaving… the problem the staff was just to lazy to take our orders because we were the only one...

We had an amazing stay! The staff are fantastic and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The food was really amazing (my personal favorite was the chicken cashew). The beach is secluded and the views are beautiful. We went during low season and I'd be happy to stay there all year round!

Family of 5 stayed in 2 adjoining bungalows, comfy beds, good AC, fridge and tea & coffee making facilities. Restaurant on site we had breakfast included buffet style, option to have lunch and dinner with small menu and small portions , we walked along the beach and ate in the hotel next door.

I am a ********* tourist. This trip is a company trip. I chose this hotel to stay for two nights. The front desk staff and waiters, as well as the cleanliness of the room and the comfort of the environment are really great. I give it a five-star rating and really recommend it. Bungalow was fine,but cheeky monkeys have stolen our bag from room first day.we didn’t know about monkeys in bungalow area .nobody even informed us. Staff wasn’t very helpful and friendly but it’s ok . Location is good by the beach but everything on island is close to the beach to be honest

Nice big restaurant that's very easy to find, look for the big ship-styled restaurant on the beach. The beach is nice and not crowded you can get a message there. There are a few tables and loungers you can use as well. The drinks were reasonable the view was great and the beer cold. What's not to love!

Wonderful place! We stayed in a family bungalow which was simple but had everything you'll need. The location is isolated so great if you just want to relax and stay on the beautiful beach but not much else going on. The resort was amazing, the team too. It’s a good place to disconnect about everything. A really nice sunrise and sunset and also in the afternoon you can see the monkeys. The food is amazing and every people there are very polite.

Facilities: The room was quite spacious and offered a lovely sea view, allowing us to hear the relaxing sound of the waves. My only complaint is that the lighting in the room was exceptionally dim – I really hope the hotel addresses this. Service: The staff were all very friendly! A special shout-out to Aom at the front desk for being so helpful.

A beautiful and very peaceful place to stay. Right on the beach with good swimming, not too rocky. Staff are excellent and treat guests like family. We arrived and asked for a room with a fan, not air con, but as it wasn't available the staff, bought a new fan and wall mounted it in our room within hours. Great service! Highly recommend for calm, peaceful time.

My third time at Anderman Beach Resort along with many other guests from all over the world who mostly wouldn't stay anywhere else. Beautiful villas, serviced twice a day. Kids loved the beds with mosquito nets - princess beds! Pools are saltwater, so much better than chlorine. No big hotels around, very relaxed amazing location. Only disappointment was all the rubbish coming in on the tide and scattered across the beach

This is a quiet, peaceful gem with a beach that is practically empty and yours to enjoy. We enjoyed a beach villa with private pool. Stunning and beautiful! The organic gardens were so extensive and well kept. For those who enjoy yoga and massage, you will love the yoga teacher. She is amazing. What a fantastic place to stay! Short boat ride from the Krabi area. We stayed in a 2 bed Beach Front Villa - just superb! The staff were amazing, excellent service and great food from the restaurant! Perfect place to relax and unwind! Thoroughly recommend this place right on the Andaman Sea!

The food was the most authentic Thai anywhere on the island and we came there just for the excellent Thai cooking. Other restaurants nearby were too westernised, basic western supermarket bought stir fries passing off as Thai. Yet this one was the real deal and great value.

Nice huge bungalows with sea view, delicious food, the breakfast is simple Thai style, but good. The boss is very nice, but not overly attentive. I cannot understand the two French negative reviews, the expectation was probably for a luxury resort.

Traditional wooden bungalows on the beach. Lots of steps to get up and down so perhaps not best suited to anyone with mobility problems. Only had a fan room - figured the sea breeze would help cool the place down but no - they have a few rooms with air on so recommend getting one. We chanced upon this place and it was exactly what we were looking for - a simple bungalow overlooking the beach. The room was a decent size and the bathroom pretty basic, and it had a lovely deck overlooking the beach and we thought it was the best beach on the island as well. This is paradise. The bungalows are very nice, comfy and just perfect to relax. You see one of the nicest sunsets from the beach or from the balcony of ur little bungalow. The staff is so super nice, the food is excellent, the drinks (I can only speak for non alcoholic) are super deliscious. It is just perfect for relaxation vacation. They rent motorbikes and bicycles. Fairly comfortable bungalow with fan and mosquito net. We had superior bungalow with partial sea view. I have chosen a bungalow which met my expectations. For a change I wanted to have something like a hotel room, rather that a rustical bungalow. Even though street is next to the bungalow, it was quiet at night as windows have good sound isolation.

Great location, good food, and a beautiful view of Ko Phi Phi. The long beach in front of the bungalows is perfect for a stroll, and in the evenings you can enjoy local food—what more could you want? The bungalows are clean, well-furnished, and absolutely authentic.

What has become of the beautiful, relaxed Joy? There was a change of management. What was once pure relaxation, a relaxed atmosphere, is now a place with elevator music on the beach, not much left of peace and the sound of the sea. It will now be a place like many others. What a pity, another paradise less.

Paradise on Koh Jum! This was iyr fifth stay at Joy Bungalows since 2012 and we love it! The hospitality of the staff, the bungalow (VIP by the beach), the food at the restaurant, the almost empty 2-km beach beach... This is where we go for a relaxing time! This is our paradise!
