Sun Smile Beach Koh Jum in Ko Jum

Our second time here and it didn't disappoint at all. Simple but great value bungalows in a lovely garden setting right on the beautiful beach. Excellent people looking after you and everything is very clean. We will come back again.

We are well travelled in Asia and have stayed in many different types of accommodation and bungalows. We love rustic but this resort could really do with a bit of TLC both in the rooms and the grounds and the food could have been presented better. The rooms are overpriced for the standard but I expect is the quality of comfy bed that has pushed the price up.

Sun Smile Beach Resort is probably as close to a Thai paradise as you can get. Wonderful atmosphere, friendly staff, fantastic massage, top service, nice beach and not least the FOOD!. After more than 15 trips to Thailand and a total of more than a year here, I can only say that the food here is overall the best we have experienced in Thailand. Even the simplest vegetable or noodle dish tastes amazing. When we have eaten breakfast, we immediately long for lunch. The first few days we lived in a bungalow in the second row with a fan and cold running water, which was perfectly fine. For the last three days we have lived in the front row with hot water, AC and fridge. A little more expensive, but worth every single bath. We have had an hour massage 5 days in a row and it has been incredibly good for the body. Tried both oil, Thai and neck/back massage. If we go back to Thailand at some point, it is absolutely the reason to visit Sun Smile again. Ragnar

As close to paradise as you can get. Sun Smile is an absolutely wonderful place. You can stay in simple bungalows with fan and sea view or luxuriously in the front row with AC, fridge and water. The beach is very close and it's lovely to fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the waves. Very good service! The restaurant serves fantastic food! Best so far and I can compare with many restaurants through all trips to Thailand. There are two good masseurs at the resort and why not do like us, one massage a day! Very talented! Rented a moped but it is so nice at the resort that one day was enough. You want to come back here☀️

Everything as advertised or better. Room was clean with a great view and the food was really good. Wasn’t sure what to expect but they over delivered

Beautiful place with beach view. The rooms are comfortable with nice balcony to look at the beach. Only thing is that internet connection is not stable. Therefore, do not plan much home office from there. Just go and relax.

Right on the beach the soothing sounds of the ocean will lull you to sleep and gently wake you each morning. Huge amounts to choose from on the menu and you can eat with your toes on the sand. Cute deck chairs to use for the day and plenty of shade if you need it. Massages available all day on the beach. Quiet, peaceful and friendly staff. I wish we could stay longer.
