Kohjum Relax Beach in Ko Jum

The food was the most authentic Thai anywhere on the island and we came there just for the excellent Thai cooking. Other restaurants nearby were too westernised, basic western supermarket bought stir fries passing off as Thai. Yet this one was the real deal and great value.

Absolutely lovely family that run the resort so kind and helpful, very clean basic bungalows. Food was amazing and not overly spicy which was great for me and the kids hubby not so much. Only downside was the tide goes out at around 12pm and dosent come back until about 7pm and leaves behind a very sharp rocky beach, again not great when you have kids that want a swim but obviously that is totally out of the owners control. We would come back again but only for a couple days rather than the 4 we have just done. If you are looking for a very quiet peaceful holiday this is the place for you. Value for money is amazing here.

Nice huge bungalows with sea view, delicious food, the breakfast is simple Thai style, but good. The boss is very nice, but not overly attentive.
I cannot understand the two French negative reviews, the expectation was probably for a luxury resort.

We had a wonderful time here and would have loved to have stayed longer. We had the “deluxe bungalow with sea view”. The huts on stilts (there are only 4 of them) are large and clean, as is the bed with a mosquito net. 24h electricity, cold water in the shower, fan, wonderful view from the balcony. Breakfast as usual Thai (tea or coffee, fried egg, two slices of toast, some butter / jam, four pieces of pineapple). On the second day we ordered a delicious pancake with it. In general, the food is good (we went here for lunch or dinner every now and then). There is no TV in the bungalow, but I personally don't need it either when I'm on vacation on an island :) There is wifi, I can't say whether it works in the room - we had our own Thai SIM cards. Boss is very nice. Transfer from the ferry to the beach with the longtail cost 50 bat / person (there and back), the longtail landed almost directly at the resort.

A small resort run by a very friendly family. Very nice bungalows set in a good location on the beach. One big bungalow with 2 big beds and hot shower direct on the beach, 3 bungalows with one big bed and no hot shower. All bungalows big, and balconys huge. Serves a decent breakfast with nescafe and fruit. Meny is ok, and food is good.
