Andaman Beach Resort Koh Jum in Ko Jum

A beautiful and very peaceful place to stay. Right on the beach with good swimming, not too rocky. Staff are excellent and treat guests like family. We arrived and asked for a room with a fan, not air con, but as it wasn't available the staff, bought a new fan and wall mounted it in our room within hours. Great service! Highly recommend for calm, peaceful time.

My third time at Anderman Beach Resort along with many other guests from all over the world who mostly wouldn't stay anywhere else. The Resort in right on the Anderman ocean on a several mile/kilometres clean and stunning beach. There are approximately 80 Europeans come every year and stay 2 or 3 months including myself. The main attraction is no attraction meaning you go to Koh Jum mostly because of the 100% pure relaxation. If you want things to see & do best stay in Krabi or some other main tourist area. I typical day on Jum. Walk the beach. Talk to other guests. Eat some amazing food. Read, have a beach massage or just take a chill pill as my nephew says to me. Jum gives you the opportunity to really relax and find yourself. Watch the nightly stunning sunsets and enjoy a cold beer or cocktail. Everyone including all the locals are super friendly and just smile. But it isn't for everyone. For me & a pall of mine who's been coming to Jum for 20 years is the closest you'll get to a Robinson Cruso experience. Almost your very own island paradise. Not much to see or do for children although you occasionally see a few. Some excellent restaurants serving ultra fresh food. Jum isn't like anywhere else you've been and most likely unlikely to experience anywhere else in the world. You'll have time to rediscover yourself and slow down. Anderman beech resort is all single bungalows all facing the sea. The bungalows themselves are all modern with good showers and everything you'd expect. However the further back your bungalow the cheaper it is. Good food in the restaurant. Ideally you'll benefit from hiring a scooter as there are no local buses. Because is only 10 miles long by 2 wide there is no Police or insurance. Meaning if you cause any damage, you pay for the damage and walk away. For me & many others jum is unique so long as you realise there no night life. No all night music or party's etc There is no swimming pool. I expect to be returning to jum every year for the foreseeable. Strongly recommend so long as you realise it's a seriously relaxing experience. That is jum's main attraction.

This is a quiet, peaceful gem with a beach that is practically empty and yours to enjoy. We enjoyed a beach villa with private pool. Stunning and beautiful! The organic gardens were so extensive and well kept. For those who enjoy yoga and massage, you will love the yoga teacher. She is amazing. The restaurant staff will take great care of you and there is fresh seafood to chose from every night, prepared to your specifications. The chef is amazing! We already miss the great staff and the beauty and peace. We will be back! Don’t miss the fresh fried calamari!

Beautiful villas, serviced twice a day. Kids loved the beds with mosquito nets - princess beds! Pools are saltwater, so much better than chlorine. No big hotels around, very relaxed amazing location. Only disappointment was all the rubbish coming in on the tide and scattered across the beach

It is a beautiful and very natural resort. The rooms are very good, clean, complete facilities, quiet, suitable for relaxation. The service staff is very good. The food is delicious. There is a chance that I will definitely return again.

Amazing place to stay on the idyllic island of Koh Jum. The villa will arrange your transfer from Krabi pier via long tail boat. The place can be summed up by the fact that the beautifully decorated villas have no key and no tv. Perfect if you want a quiet retreat with easy access to the beach. Complimentary bicycle hire is the best way to explore the 10km long island and make your way out to eat at any of the plentiful homely family cafes.
The hotel itself has a decent restaurant and bar for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can select your choice of locally caught fish from their ice box.
Good value massage available on site as well as a gym and organic garden.
Could not recommend this place highly enough if you are looking for a tranquil stay away from the stresses of city life.

What a fantastic place to stay! Short boat ride from the Krabi area. We stayed in a 2 bed Beach Front Villa - just superb! The staff were amazing, excellent service and great food from the restaurant! Perfect place to relax and unwind! Thoroughly recommend this place right on the Andaman Sea!

We had 5 wonderful days at the Koh Jum Beach Villas. In our search for hotels in Thailand that take a sustainable approach, we found what we were looking for here. We were impressed by how sustainability is practiced here without having to sacrifice any comfort. The villas were wonderfully furnished and set in beautiful gardens, which also contribute to biodiversity on Koh Jum through the choice of plants.
We also had an excellent meal and enjoyed delicious drinks while watching beautiful sunsets. We loved to be accompanied by the resort's cute cats :-) Highly recommended!

Really private out of the way set of individually designed private villas which are rented out by owners. We had one of the largest with 4 bedrooms. Really enjoyable.
