We stayed at Family Hut for 5 days.
The location is perfect, in a quiet area and extremely close to Walking Street.
Everything was very clean, all the facilities are well maintained, and the staff is lovely.

The host told me to go away from the hotel after I paid without a refund! Stay away from this place

The family hut hotel as it is called is a very warm and welcoming place, its location is perfect, just a minute away from the walking street, the staff is very friendly the place is very clean and quiet, the only fault i could find is the bed being too hard for me and as i had some back pain it wasnt the best, and the huts having an open air shower which is kind of cold to use in the evening, but besides that everything was great.

No one to greet me when I arrived. I had to pay for a room in a hotel even though I had already paid for my night in that hotel.

Very far, facilities are not complete as advertised, the surrounding atmosphere is not orderly, the service is not impressive.

The new room is very clean. The bed is new, soft, and comfortable to sleep on. The air conditioner is new and quiet. It is convenient to travel.

We stayed in one of their new white huts and in all honesty I can not find fault with it whatsoever. Perfectly clean, clean decent quality bed linen and towels, hot shower, TV, AC, kettle, hairdryer etc. Absolutely perfect position next to the river by the bamboo bridge. If you book one of these bungalows I feel it would be a completely different experience to those in the old huts. Maybe the old criticism is the bed was quite hard but we are used to hard beds now in Thailand. We booked because our friends stayed here, we wouldn’t have done so reading the previous reviews so I feel I need to say something positive to encourage people to try the newer huts at least

The place is in construction and the noise is strong and horrible. Very basic room and the bed is hard.There is no hot water at all in the shower, only cold. You hear the clubs from the city until 2 am and in 7 am in the morning you wake up to the screams of drunks..

Very simple huts. Good location close to the walking street. Fun hammock on the balcony. Shower is not graet and the towels are annoying but it's a good value for money.

If you arrive in Pai and ever other resort is completely book and you really need a place to crash, search no more. This place is the place. It’s right by the river and beautiful at night!
But… if you’re looking for a clean place to stay. With comfortable beds, ac, an indoor bathroom, a toilet with running water, a hot shower or a bug free experience - this place is the for you…
Also I should probably add that there is construction nearby so if you are a light sleeper or like to sleep after 8 am I also wouldn’t recommend this place.
