The Sleep Phang Nga in Phang Nga

For us, it was just a place to spend the night, as we arrived very late from Phuket airport and didn't want to sleep in the city. The owner waited for us, treated us very well, recommended a place to have dinner, and offered us his hospitality. Good breakfast for 300 THB for two people. Spacious room and terrace, comfortable bed, everything very clean. Perhaps a little expensive compared to other places in the area. But for us it was perfect. We recommend it.

Modest room with a stunning view

A very beautiful place with friendly service, located in the heart of Phang Nga. We booked one night for 1,000 THB via Agoda; the walk-in price was 1,200 THB (breakfast not included). At first, it felt a bit overpriced since the building is somewhat old. However, once I entered the room, the view completely changed my impression—it was absolutely stunning.

There is some room for improvement. Having a kettle with a coffee/tea set in the room would be very helpful. Drinks are available downstairs, but it’s not very convenient. I understand this is a guesthouse, so it’s acceptable, but many places in this price range offer at least basic in-room facilities or breakfast. Here, what you really pay for is the view—and it’s worth it.

The staff were very friendly and willing to help. The outdoor area has seating, soft lighting in the evening, and the sound of water, creating a relaxing atmosphere. We had dinner there, and it was a pleasant experience.

In the morning, drinks must be collected downstairs. Since the view is better from the room, I brought them upstairs myself, which was fine for me, but it might be inconvenient for elderly guests. It also creates extra work for staff if drinks need to be served to rooms.

Overall, I would suggest improving the service by providing kettles with coffee sets in the rooms and replacing the old towels, which are a bit worn. Aside from these small points, it was an absolutely amazing stay. Thank you.

The accommodation was great, and the location was excellent, right in the heart of the city. There's no parking at the hotel, but you can park in public areas. The room was good, the bed was comfortable – truly living up to its "Sleep" name. In the morning, there's a Muslim restaurant next door where you can have roti, biryani, and fried chicken.

This has been the best stay so far!!!! And I have a feeling this will still be the best stay after another 3 months of travelling! The rooms are clean and spacious! The family living at the homestay are the kindest and sweetest people ever. So so thoughtful, thinking of all the little things to make our stay even more blissful. It's when you meet people like this, you remember just how good humanity can be. We did the boat trip organised by the family which was excellent! The landscapes and limestone cliffs were stunningly beautiful. We also got some reccomendations for some top local restaurants. I love Phang Nga so much, it's my favourite place of Thailand so far! So much to see and explore! It's not very touristy , very local and the natural beauty is out of this world! If I get the opportunity to return to Thailand again, I would definitely come back to Phang Nga and stay at this homestay in a heartbeat 💓

Home Phang-Nga guesthouse sits in the literal shadow of a gorgeous, jungle-clad karst promontory overlooking Phang Nga town. You can walk down in minutes to the main drag and explore. Rooms are well-appointed and clean, and sit above an open-air lobby surrounded by a lush garden and small koi pond. Perhaps the best thing, though, is the service. The manager and staff are extremely knowledgeable about both the town, dining options, transport, and sightseeing opportunities.
