i recently spent 2 weeks here, and my 60th birthday. The hotel is lovely, the food a staff are amazing, as is the location. We went on lots of trips out to elephant sanctuaries, James Bond island, temples and blessings. The whole experience and holiday was excellent. The overall hotel is very good. The rooms are very large with everything you could want in a room. The little things that make it special are the robes, flip flops, toiletries, fruit platter on arrival. The hotel in general is great, food fab at breakfast. Resturant food great if a little limited on the menu. Pool great and all round service great. Downside is quite a bit of maintenance required on pool decking req , and not the best on the beach front. No immediate other bars on the beach requires a good walk along the beach.

A bit dated and no lifts to the 3rd floor. Almost everything closes or stops around 10pm including stuff in the hotel, except a pub with a live band on the main road. The beach is alright and clean. The room is good. The bedsheets were a little bit dirty. The view is gorgeous. Nice service, massage. The pool is ok, but it seems it’s missing some bushes around(like a wall). There is a feeling that the pool is on the parking, and also there is some market next to it. So it feels there is no privacy.

Absolutely great place to travel if you are coeliac/gluten free. The resort restaurant was very accommodating and were able to adjust most dishes for gluten free. Felt very safe eating there. The hotel is unique, but many services are closed, like the bar and restaurant. I stayed for 3 nights, and my room was never cleaned, nor were the towels changed. It was a nice hotel. We stayed for one night and checked in late. The good news is that the reception is open 24 hours. This place is just perfect and we had a wonderful time: private villa yet a “real place” - an island with primary schools, mosques, football ground, plenty of places to eat (La Sala being my absolute favorite!) and warm smiling people. We had boat trips, hikes, cycling and … loads of massage. To repeat. Definitely.

Top top! This hotel is a ‘hidden’ pearl in all the tourist jungle. No Russians here! VERY good. The beach is wide and flat, cleaned everyday. Staff is awesome. Food in the restaurant is great. Pool is small, but all good compared to the intimate mood here. Rooms have good space and are nice and clean. It is so rare to find spots like this. My very best for this place
