A wonderful, quiet place to relax your body and soul. We spent an incredible weekend here – playing golf, swimming in the pool, having breakfast with a view of the mountains and lake, and cycling. We also got a special offer at the spa on Valentine's Day and were given a fantastic massage, a scrub, and a jacuzzi. I highly recommend it, especially if you're tired of the bustle of Phuket.

The hotel and its services are at the required level. However, I would recommend the management to have all the air conditioning units cleaned because it is a disaster.

A good resort with beautiful view and lot of space. As it's the corner most one, the beach almost feels like private . The rooms are pretty big with balcony. The also have different kind of stay options with cottages on beach aswell. The resturant was not opened when we visited. For food you have to walk till then centre which is 30mins away. They also do not provide free water.

Really liked the room’s view (attached pictures), room comfort and proximity to a beautiful beach. Room for improvement: the restaurant/ breakfast is quite lame (specially Cappuccino, they charged it as a proper one, but it’s Nescafe powder coffee with milk powder).

THB1500 for a room with 3 single beds. book directly with a hotel. breakfast is good. coffee is good. pool is just ok. they provide a van to Apsara entrance from which you need to walk 3min by beach to a memories beach with surf rentals. restaurants around are not working. you can ask stuff to drive you somewhere. don't forget to get their phones for picking you up from the beach.

Serene and rejuvenating. In a valley surrounded by mountains, giving it an open yet a very cozy feel. Villas are beautiful outside and inside. Breakfast is healthy and tasty. Peaceful place Cozy cottage village in a peaceful area. Good pool areas. A rooster crowed in the mornings, which was charming in its own way. The breakfast buffet was adequate. The rooms were clean, but the bathroom smelled of sewage. The friendly dogs in the cottage village were a plus. I will stay here again if I return to the country. This was the best hotel we've ever stayed at, despite the really off-the-beaten-path location. Wonderful 5 day stay at Purana for our honeymoon. The people who staff the resort are so very friendly and helpful. A highlight was the boat trip to Kong Island and also riding around the island in the resort’s Honda scooter with sidecar.

Purana It's boring. You can't walk anywhere. The hotel is on a hill. There is a beach, but no water. Powerful low tides. The water is muddy. The property offered a clean and safe place to sleep. It is indeed very simple. My room had a pot for steaming water, but no in room coffee or tea. The price was very reasonable, and reflected the no frill option. For me, Id be willing to up the budget next time for more on site ammenities. The Simple represents good value for a no frills stay.

The simple was simple but we knew this when booking and it was great for a cheap-ish one night after exploring Yao Noi. The room was clean and we had a comfortable nights sleep. Amazing bungalow in a great location with scooter hire! The host offers breakfast and this was great to have every morning! The bungalows are really great size with fresh water and towels provided. The host is so lovely and welcoming and helped sort out next travel arrangements.

The accommodation was great, and the location was excellent, right in the heart of the city. There's no parking at the hotel, but you can park in public areas. Beautiful resort, and the staff were great! Definitely great value and would recommend for anyone visiting Khao Lak. Very relaxed vibe, and not overcrowded like some resorts in Thailand. Also really great massages by the beach (only 500THB per hour!). Next time I think I would book a deluxe room instead of a Bungalow.

Rooms are a mixed bag. Some in need of updating with leaky air con units, discoloured bath and bathroom floor, poor shower, BUT you don't spend much time in there. I prefer a more modern hotel and brighter, lighter decor. That’s just a preference. Mostly male staff. Thai staff can’t do enough to help. Didn’t get this vibe here.

Stayed for 10 days in Nov/Dec 2025. Reception Staff were faultless. The place was clean and cleaning staff went above and beyond by constantly coming back later to clean our room if we over slept. Everybody alway acknowledged us with smiles. Breakfast was spot on. Pool, garden no issues but if I have 1 complaint. Too many stairs. Bad experience I choose the hotel because of the location, the room was okay, nothing special. During evening and night alot of noise from driving cars and motorbikes outside. I booked breakfast together with the stay and when i went down to get breakfast they told we had to go to another hotel to eat, they would send a car that would be there after 10 minutes, but after 30 minutes i choose to check...

The hotel is small. Empty. Detached houses, there is a swimming pool, which I have not tried. The sea is nearby, if through the garbage, 30 m.. The beach is excellent, large, sandy. They clean every day, but somehow stupidly, they take away glasses, then forget towels, then water. Nearby is a 7/11 store, right next to the back exit.. And tuk-tuks. 100 m away is the main street with restaurants, shops...

Very nice resort. Room had a little bit of a funky smell and you couldn’t see the water as shown in the picture it was all blocked by trees but it had a very fun jungle feel. Location wasn’t really walking distance too much but taxi services were easy to find.

this is an absolutely fantastic place! the view actually took my breath away immediately on arrival! the rest did not disappont either! 20 out 5 all in all! the place is a collection of small bungalows scattered on a slope between the trees. so there is a low of space between people even if fully booked. quite private yet social enough. the view is fantastic in any weather and you can enjoy it right...

I was able to book 2 nights here on last minute. The room was comfortable and slept well. My shower did not work properly, but the staff fixed it, even at 9 pm. Nice location. Quiet. Our 2nd stay at C-nior. Unlike the other review from today we never had any issues with the manager. Always helpful but sometimes he is a bit stressed out and distraught. Helped us get motorbikes and negotiate with the company when we had a small accident with one of the bikes and also arranged flawless transfer to/from the airport.
