Marrakesh Hua Hin Resort & Spa in Hua Hin

Overall, this was probably the most disappointed stat I’ve had in Hua Hin. I’ve traveled there about 8 times now and usually stay at places within a similar budget. I mostly decided to stay here cause j say they did a stay and play promotion with pineapple valley golf course and assumed that it must be a decent place for the money and a good value.

The room was more like a love motel with mirrors all over. The floor was humid and wet when we arrived, it smelled musty due to poor ventilation and lack of windows. It felt gross and grimy overall.

It’s clearly old with very few upgrades over the years with a tv that looked 20 years old. Pretty cramped space, no desk or area to set up a laptop. The tiles and grime in the corners just made it more like a 1 or 2 star.

The morning breakfast was ok. Pretty decent for the room price. The staff was possibly the only redeeming quality. They were nice and friendly and helpful. I hate sharing such negative reviews when I’m sure the staff are trying their best but overall, I would definitely never return or recommend this spot when there are so many places that are far nicer and cleaner for the same budget.
