Baan Manali Resort in Thong Sala

We just finished another two nights at Baan Manali Resort. During this trip, we already stayed there for four nights, and we decided to come back for two more nights at the end of our vacation — because for us it’s simply the most perfect and enjoyable resort on the island. We’ve stayed at Baan Manali during three previous vacations as well, and returning here truly feels like coming home. The place is always peaceful, spotless, and beautifully maintained. The staff are kind and wonderful. The rooms are well-kept, renovated, and offer a great sense of privacy. The sunsets from the restaurant are stunning, and the food is excellent and very fairly priced. The resort is located 3 min drive from Thong Sala pier but yet when you are there you feel srounded with nature .It is owned by a truly special and lovely family — warm, welcoming people who make every conversation and every moment of hospitality feel exceptional.

The Baan Manali is an excellent resort for the price. It's on a lovely stretch of beach, they serve up amazing food and drinks, wifi is excellent and staff are very friendly.

The rooms are a bit dated, but this adds to the charm of the resort. You won't find many good restaurants nearby, but this is the case in most areas and a scooter hire is almost essential in Koh Phangan if you want to explore the island and restaurants.

This was the last of our stays after visiting four different islands in Thailand. This property was beautifully maintained with great views and pool right on the ocean. It lacked the arrogance and pretense of other beautiful resorts and felt entirely comfortable and welcoming. I will be back!

A few days in paradise
Wonderful hotel, we had a room right on the sea front with a patio with chairs and a hammock.
Room was a good size and bed very comfy, good air con and a decent size shower room.
Amazing views , right on the beach .
Lovely restaurant, good quality food. Had breakfast every day especially recommend the Thai eggs in tomato sauce.
Friendly helpful staff.
Only slight criticism was that we wish the restaurant was open for evening meals post 18:30

Our nights at Baan Manali were just amazing 🤩 the location was perfect right close from the night markets and beautiful seashores. staffs were welcoming with warm hospitality and I cannot forget their kindness! Swimming in the pool 🏊 right near the beach is something legit experience you cannot miss! I definitely want to come here again. Thank you so much. 😊

I loved the place, very quite but still you can walk to a few midtown areas near by. 7/11 and bike rent just around the corner.

We recently stayed at Baan Manali Resort as a family of five, and we can honestly say it’s our new favorite place! There’s a special charm about the resort that immediately makes you feel at home. The location is absolutely perfect, just a short distance from Thong Sala, yet it still feels secluded and peaceful.

The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready with a smile and eager to help with anything you need. The food was a delightful surprise, with meals that reminded us of home – comforting and delicious.

One of the highlights of our stay was watching the most incredible sunset we’ve ever seen. It was truly breathtaking and made our time there even more magical.

The rooms are also uniquely designed and beautifully decorated, adding to the overall charm of the resort. Every detail is well thought out, making the stay both comfortable and special.

And finally, Liat, the owner, is an absolute gem. She’s always available, happy to assist with any request, no matter the time. She made our experience unforgettable.

This place is absolutely magical. Right on the beach, with magical relaxing atmosphere, shade from the trees, good food and drinks, amazing pool. The view can’t be nicer with the island in front. Highly recommended both for sleeping and also just to come for few hours

We just rented kayaks here. But so epic! If you get the chance go at high tide and go right off the northern beach on the Koh Tae Nai. There’s an amazing drop off where fish gather. Great price and service! Would totally rent again.
