Koh Mook Garden Beach Resort in Ko Mook

I don't understand how people can come to Koh Mook and feel good...
I compare the island to hell, beaches full of plastic, local people burning mountains of plastic every morning and afternoon, environmental crisis!!!
I came here blindly and I totally regret it.
Please if you are looking to relax on a very important island paradise!! Change your way of thinking, generate less waste... everything goes to the sea and then people bathe in garbage and eat fish with microplastics!
It is a reality that nobody counts!
Koh Mook Resort is garbage, people without desire to work, dirty place and full of bloody dogs!

We stayed 4 nights To get to the hotel you have to cross the garbage dump that burned all day Not once the cleaning Towels never changed No storage in the room Not a shelf or a hook in the toilets cold water during the whole stay. My wife got bitten by I don't know what creature (see photos) There is no beach in front of the hotel but a muddy mangrove. Breakfast from 7:30 to 10 am the same sadness of the buffet every day. You arrive at 9:00 am there is not much left. I could write pages about it

We had booked this resort 5 months in advance for 5 nights. When we arrived, the resort was overbooked and we were assigned very substandard bungalows in the middle of a lot of rubbish around. We did not accept this and we then went across the entire island with a taxi driver to find a new place to stay.

I didn't really stay there because we had a reservation set up through ********* but when we arrived there was no reservation. The farang "manager" of course said it wasn't his fault. The problem is that there were no more rooms available in Koh Mook. Be very wary. Also the name has changed Forever? but of course it's not on TripAdvisor. Avoid.

It is rare that I give a bad review when I return my experience in TA. We left this hotel after 2 nights on a reservation of 5 and a change of room. When booking there are two possible choices with and without air conditioning in a wooden and bamboo bungalow. We decided to choose the ecological solution with the seaside and offshore wind instead of the energy-consuming air conditioning. What a disappointment, the first night we were treated to a bungalow that was out of breath. A trickle of cold water, broken toilets, missing pieces of wall, a broken window, bamboo under the dust above the bed. We were quickly offered another bungalow that did not correspond to the description of the advertisement, be careful no air conditioning = no hot water. The presentation photos do not correspond to reality, I will spare you the access to the hotel in the mud and next to the garbage. The attached photos speak for themselves. This is a bad experience due to lack of information.
