Beautiful location. It really needs shaded "palapas" and seating places at the beach. They also has lots of sandflies that took advantage of the guests 🙄.

Beautiful resort, on a beautiful island. Service was amazing from some people and average from other staff.... But honestly, who cares when you're somewhere that beautiful.

We spent the last days of our Thailand tour here, and it was just the perfect ending ❤️. All the staff were incredibly kind and caring, the food was amazing, and the beachside bungalow we stayed in was absolutely stunning. Thank you for having us - we had such a great time with you.

If you came for chill & relax, recommended this hotel. The only annoying thing was the sandflies. Hotel foods were good as well, the staff regardless at the reception, service crew and the restaurant were all helpful and friendly. Cleanliness within acceptable range, but there is improvement room for this.

All around, the M.K. Riviera was an enjoyable experience. The bungalow was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with lots of options. The staff was extremely pleasant and accommodating....

The resort has seen better days. you can tell it was once grand. The grounds are huge. lotsa trees that unfortunately haven't been kept up with so the hotel has an abandoned feel to it. The entrance is dark at night and can be a little scary as there are no outside lights lighting the path (this would help BTW). It its close to everything. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. Whenever we need to get somewhere, the front desk would have a tuktuk ready for us. We also asked for a private longboat a day head of our arrival, and it was also ready for us on time. Our bungalow was clean and right near the pool, the restaurant had great food and coffee, and it was very quiet throughout the night as well. I would highly recommend.

What’s not to love … Stayed last year for 4 nights and 7 nights in January this year - again in a pool access room . Small but stylish Mooklamai is an excellent choice for a stay in Koh Mook. It is not located directly on the beach but you may reach them easily. The staff is extremely supportive and smiling. Mooklamai has a stylish and functional design. In our opinion is one of the top choices for Koh Mook

Staff were lovely and went out of their way to be helpful. The resort was well kept with lovely flowers and visited by butterflies. We enjoyed watching the monkeys in the jungle behind our bungalow. Our room was spotlessly clean and well appointed and the bed was comfortable. Free beach towels and transfers to the beach was a bonus. Breakfast was adequate but service could be slow.

We were turned down from by our taxi from airport, Kritt organized sending car pick up right away in short notice. We arrived by late evening, really felt so comfy the first minute arriving at Mook Montra.  Everything was just purely great !! Really loves this place, loves Koh Mook !!

We loved our stay at Mook Montra. The bungalows are very nice and clean, hot water and air con always available and the terace hammock is perfect for reading and relaxing. Also, hot water, tea and coffee at reception. Kritt is a great host, helpfull and nice. The proximity to the city center and the pier is also a plus. We will definitely return.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mook Montra Resort. The bungalow was lovely and bathrooms are very spacious. The hammocks outside were a perfect way to unwind in a beautiful setting. We were able to rent a scooter across the road from the hotel, and good luck restaurant had delicious pancakes for breakfast if it's not included in your stay. Would definitely stay again.

Really love this place. I was planning to stay in Koh Mook only 3 nights and then to Lipe. However this place/ Mook Montra has really touched our hearts, the helps of staffs, the generosity of the owner, cleanliness; I really felt comfortably warm within resort; I kept on extending our stays. A quaint hotel with a nice pool and lovely staff. The rooms are spacious and the beds are OK. The breakfast isn’t the greatest but it does the job. All in all a great place to stay.

The resort has a nice Pool. The beach was not nice here this is important to understand. We had a standerd double room. It was spacious, clean, everyday cleaning. There was no great view from the patio. But we really loved a clean proper room. The Cook in the restaurant was really good at that time. Had great greencurry chicken. Layndry service was fast. Staff helpfull! It was quiet and peacefull....

As the island is currently almost fully booked, we were lucky to get a last minute booking here for 5 nights. We return regularly to koh mook as we have family here. This resort has a great secluded location in nature with abundant bird life and a great sunrise view. Pool is lovely and breakfast is convenient and tasty. This is my third trip to the wonderful island and 3rd stay at Sun Great. Positives: the manager and staff are very helpful, great pool, quiet. Negatives; they use to have bikes for guests but no more; the new rooms are spotless but sterile with nothing on the walls and very few places to store items. The lady on the front is very friendly and helpful. We stayed here 1 night but could have spent more time, lovely island. Like the others have said, the location is slightly further but not a problem, they'll rent scooters and can help you get a tuktuk if needed. This is about the food and drink vendor area on the beach. Good cocktails sitting on a mat watching the sunset. But you're having a laugh meaning it's ridiculous charging 10baht to use the toilet and having a cute child as security. People are spending money at the beach anyway. Please consider the needs of women and the aged who might need to use the toilet for menstruation which is a human right...

Nice spacious bungalows, friendly & helpful staffs, big restaurant that serves delicious food at reasonable prices and beautiful white, soft sand beach. During low season, electricity will start from 6pm till 9am and the swimming pool is closed.

Resort is placed at a mangrove site so not really suitable for swimming. But hotel offers free shuttle to the beaches eg Charlie beach and Sivalai beach. Then you can rent a tuktok going back for B50 per person. There is a small swimming pool, it's clean. The restaurant offers good dishes and not expensive. It has very nice milk teas and coffees. We ate most of our meals here as we are not sure of...

3 superb days in this hotel, the staff is very pleasant, the place is magical. Departure by long tail boat just in front for day trips, it's great!! And Dada the boss is really excellent!! To do: the old point 30mn from the market and Charlie bach by scooter taxi.

Small family-run resort, with a peaceful and dreamy atmosphere. Run by a family with a smile in their eyes, attentive and caring staff ❤️probably many things could be improved, but everything takes a back seat on this still authentic island and if you want to get away from the mass tourism destinations Ko mook and the Garden resort are the right place!!!

Myself and my friend went last December. We found this place by accident and it was so amazing. The staff went above and beyond for the guests and the breakfast was fabulous! I would definitely go back there when visiting koh mook

The place is very peaceful, overlooking the sea with a great view. The rooms are also nice with an outdoor swimming pool. Highly recommended

From the moment we arrived all the Staff were helpful and polite. The Room was large and comfortable with good air-conditioning. The location of the hotel on the beach is the best and will definitely stay here again.

This is the third time we have stayed here over 3 years. You cannot beat the ocean front villas for location and size of room. Whilst a few things need updating /which is occurring, you also need to remember you are on a non commercial island that is gorgeous

The hotel staff were very kind. The property was clean, but not well maintained causing the property to not feel as nice as it actually could be. It took asking multiple times before the hotel staff cleaned our room and even then, I don't know that I would call it a cleaning. The breakfast provided is very mediocre, it is buffet style, but the kitchen could not keep up with the demand of the customers...

We booked a very simple room and yet it had everything we needed, it also surprised us with a fridge and kettle! Great location, a little bit further away from the Pier but 5 mins walking from Charlie's beach and that's where you want to stay for the sunset and in case you want to explore the Emerald Cave on your own kayaking. What a beautiful place to explore Koh Mook. Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are very clean and located in a very quiet location. The food is always freshly prepared and delicious. Charlie Beach is only 5 minutes away, and the resort has a clean pool that's also suitable for small children. All in all, a perfect stay; we'd love to come back!

All good, quiet, services, the only flaw is that when I arrived there was no room but they promised to find me one for one night and the next day they gave me the room. I was supposed to stay 5 nights but that's fine.

Didn’t stay at this hostel, but they offer water bottle refills of 1.5 litres for 5 baht! So great to see someone trying to reduce garbage!

Amazing little hostel on Koh Muk, I stayed in the right bed dorm but there was only two of us for the four nights I was there. The hostel is clean and quiet with good facilities. Breakfast across the road is also a nice touch.

The accommodation is right on the beach, close to the pier, quiet and easy to travel to. The room is clean, both the bedroom and bathroom. There are complete amenities. You can rent a motorbike or contact a tour to visit the island.

I took my mom to celebrate her birthday and visit Koh Muk. I'm so happy to see her happy. She loved it. The staff here took great care of me. The atmosphere is wonderful. I highly recommend this place.

Excellent hotel to feel nature and calm ! No air conditioning but I sleep well and fresh.

The perfect Thai bamboo huts. Only downside was smell of burning plastic every morning and close proximity of the mosque (early morning prayer is loud). But also amazing bird sounds, lovely people, and good price.

Great hostel, free breakfast is far better than i was expecting, laundry service available. Staff friendly and helpful Female-only dorm very badly arranged; little privacy and no space for things. Also means the air con freezes one person to death while a few others barely benefit. Will email hostel to suggest moving beds as there is space for everyone to have a good nights sleep
