Koh Mak Buri Hut Natural Resort in Mak

WE loved the receptionist. She was so sweet and helpful and really polite and great sense of humor. She made our stay worth it. The bungalow we clean, and comfy, theres a seating area in front of each, ours was just a minute walk from the water, there's a nice pier with hammocks! would definitely stay again. great hotel.

The place has been renovated, there is a viewing point and at the bridge the resort has made stairs to go up and down to the sea easier. There are hammocks to lie on the bridge, the atmosphere is good, the restaurant has been changed and renovated.

We spent a week at a delightful hotel on a magical island! The charming sea-view bungalows are arranged on terraces, and the hotel grounds exude comfort and care for guests. They are clean, beautiful, and very comfortable, with picturesque paths and staircases between the terrace levels.
We were greeted very warmly at the hotel (sweet and cheerful Vee, thank you so much!), and were shown around and told about the hotel, then they were attentive and helpful in resolving any questions we had.
And most importantly (!)
were the thoughtful and varied breakfasts, which lifted our spirits in the morning 😁, and the fresh, aromatic, hot dishes for lunch and dinner. Incredibly delicious, prepared with love. We even received special requests for items not on the menu! Dear, magical Jane, the restaurant owner, I am so grateful for your approach to guests and for every dinner we had! I will miss you and will definitely be back!

Good service and friendly staff. Food is more expensive than anywhere else on the island. The pool and grounds are clean. The beach is small but cozy, with a muddy bottom.

Beautiful place! Super cute and amazing staff. They picked me up from the pier, answered my questions and always with a great attitude! The boardwalk in front of the hotel is gorgeous for sunset. Only issue for me was the water pressure in the shower was weak and didn’t have options to make it stronger. Everything else was exceptional and would stay here again!

Overall, a nice and clean resort. Pickup service at the pier. Motorbike rental available on-site.

A mysterious place, we are staying there for the third time
There are some complaints, but despite all the little things you feel great there and in the morning you are full of energy. The magic of volcanic rocks is possible.

Great little resort. “B” in reception was amazing ! Nice pool, small bar / restaurant, friendly staff and nice clean bungalows. Scooters can also be rented . Loved it here.

This is a stunning place filled with serenity and peace. The house is nice and clean, has everything you need, a tea set and even a hairdryer, the territory is abundant with various plants and flowering bushes. Incredibly beautiful butterflies and flowers. A luxurious pool and a wonderful view of the pier, from where you can meet the sunrises.

For the price it was great!!! We spent a week at this beautiful resort!!! Romantic place for couples!!! Clean rooms and soft bed was amazing!!! It was peaceful, quiet, and staff made you feel at home!!! The woman who runs the place made sure we were very comfortable and happy!!!

We decided not to rent a motorbike. The resort has its own taxi and always quickly got us a ride to where we wanted to go. Island is not that big so if you enjoy walking go for it.

Delicious food!!! The woman cooking the food does an amazing job!!! They have a restaurant on sight with Thai and western options. For being on sight and with a sea view the prices were reasonable. Only a few places on island we found cheaper and the atmosphere was not as nice with zero views.

Cons: lots of stairs. We did pick a room that required more stairs however the views were worth it. I almost fell twice on the stairs. If the hotel ever does a remodel please add ramp walk ways. Steps are dangerous. Give the guest two options.

The bathroom kills some of the romance if someone uses the toilet haha. My advice open the window and door in the room and air it out. For the price worth it. Happy customers!!!! Thank you
