Banpu Resort Trat in Trat City

Resort is located close to mangrove forest, those who are interested in nature touring can do a walk through the forest if wanted. Rooms are built on top of water pool giving an experience. Guests with kids must be careful.

Fantastic rooms and location. The overall outlook of the resort is built on relaxing. The only issue we had is with the restaurant food service. The ordered food for the x3 of us came out 30mins in between meaning the share plates ordered were all cold by the time the last arrived which put a damper on the end of the night. Staff were apologetic but were overwhelmed and understaffed due a company conference occurring on site (which the resort publicize as catering for as a normal service).
Another thing to remember is that the restaurant closes at 8pm which is quite strange for Thailand, mind due we ended the night with some ice cold beers and a quick dip in the pool.

What a great resort tucked into a lakeside location with a mangrove nearby for walking or kayaking! We stayed in this resort for one night before heading to Koh Kood. If your flight to Trat lands after the last ferry to the islands, this is a terrific option for overnight accommodations. The room on the lake was clean and spacious, the restaurant food and servers were excellent, and the breakfast buffet had many choices for Western or Thai dishes. There seemed to be an endless amount of activities for families and the whole resort looks like a fun place to explore. There is a theme of nature everywhere you go and the resort reuses and recycles. Glass bottles of high quality drinking water were provided. Most of all, the staff could not have been more kind or helpful—every person was friendly and assisted with any need. If you have the chance, stay at Banpu Resort!

Good location to stay before go to Koh Kood, good breakfast and good service

Big and nicely furnished room (#126) with a terrace above natural pond. Restaurant excellent, staff super friendly and helpful.

Quiet but a bit old. Good service, average food. Good bicycles to ride. The path to the mangrove forest is not well maintained.

I ate at Chompu Cafe at night. There were a lot of mosquitoes. Overall, it was okay.

I stay here regularly. Whether you come as a couple or as a family, I stay here. The room is so big that it's lonely. It's clean, quiet, and has a good atmosphere. There's a parking lot. You can walk around the mangrove forest, see the sea, and see nature. There's a cafe and a restaurant that's complete without having to go anywhere. The breakfast is good. You can eat until you're full. It's not far from the city either.

Very good resort, the pity was that we spent a few times there, we will come back soon.The staff very friendly, the room big and comfortable, the food very tasty, smoothies so amazing.Big and clean pool, very clean and nice installations.
