The shared beach facilities were great. Lovely location on the beach, very nice swimming beach with shady comfortable sitting areas. Each room had extra lounge chairs, so if all the hotels chairs were full, you could just carry down your own. Foot wash at every bungalow. Staff were very nice, always treated us kindly and made us feel very welcome. Good powerful AC. Fridge worked well. Outdoor clothes drying / hanging area was convenient. Breakfast was passable, nothing fantastic, kind of basic. The room facilities left a lot to be desired, very cramped and smaller then it looked in the listing. The bed was on the hard side for us, we didnt find it comfortable. The plugs were behind the pillow which was awkward. The bathroom was open air, which made soundproofing terrible. Lots of road noise. The bungalow we were in was a duplex, and our neighbours were very loud late into the night, it basically felt like they were in the room with us. There was a lot of trash in the grass beside our bungalow. We couldn't get the safe to work.

We loved our stay! Its a great location on the island and home to cheapest massages you’ll find too! We enjoyed the beach front views! The only actual complaint I have is breakfast. They need more coffee makers it’s like a battle to get a cup every day and they are more like americano/espresso than basic coffee that would be easier to mass produce and keep up. Others have complained about ants but it’s an island and they are just little tiny sugar ants that pop up in 2 min if you drop fruit etc. We’ll def be back

A quiet, peaceful beach with a gentle slope into the sea, yet close to all the amenities—shops, cafes.
Chai Chet Beach is a delight!
For a family of four, we rented two adjoining cottages, very convenient. The hotel itself is quiet, the breakfasts are good. The sunsets are stunning!

The pool is nice. The kids also enjoyed snorkeling, but the main attraction is the sea.

By the way, there's a cafe called U Shurik nearby, perfect for those whose children don't eat anything at all. My child really enjoyed the dumplings—she said they were delicious 😁

The massage at Mama Tom massage by Lee was fantastic, a perfect balance of strength and tenderness. I highly recommend it 👍

We'll definitely return to the hotel!

Absolutely loved our stay at Flora. Amazing location with a pool on the beach and their restaurant located right next to the resort which makes happy hour sunsets even better. Room was cleaned every day and you were giving fresh towels. I messaged the staff about some ants in the rooms and they replied immediately and the cleaners came to spray the room. Had no further issues with the room. You have your own beach chairs at your bungalow that you can take down to the beach and place anywhere you wish to sit. We opted for the breakfast and that made life easier. There are a couple of nice restaurants across the street from the hotel. Check out Jar Restaurant which had amazing Thai food. Highly recommend this place for solo, couple or families. Will come back and stay at Flora again.

Bungalow was kind of spacey but preety dirty. Will upload few photos for you to see what I mean. The resort itself is not well maintained and not clean. If the resort vibe it's important to you then do not choose Flora I Talay for you stay in Ko Chang because you'll be disappointed big time! If you don't really mind about how clean the room is, then you can stay here for a good price and a very nice location right on the beach! Staff was OK, I mean in Thailand they all seem OK but not very very nice. Breakfast is average. Not a lot of choices but they have Thai food and also European breakfast which is OK. They have espresso coffee at breakfast for free which is a good thing.

Today I came to survey Flora i Talay,
a private beachfront resort with peaceful vibes and a truly relaxing atmosphere. 🌴

The room is clean, cozy, and so inviting that I decided to book right away.
I planned to stay 10 nights,
but only 9 were available — so I booked 5 nights for now,
hoping there might be a cancellation in January. 🌊

It’s the kind of place that makes your heart feel calm…
and happy at the same time. 💙

Very good would highly recommend, checked in early with really nice service. Room was a 30 seconds away from beach perfect location with a bike hire service they provide as well. They also have 2 pools which we never tired but was quite big and that also have a restaurant attached where you get breakfast from, the food was okay would recommend other places but okay for the breakfast and if you want the convenience. The room it self was basic but nice quite a few ants in the bathroom especially in the evenings but hard to stop that on the island and also a bit of dust in a few areas but apart from that very clean.
