Seavana Beach Resort in Mak

We spent two wonderful nights at Seavana Resort, staying in a beachfront villa, and it was truly a memorable experience for my wife and me.
The view was absolutely stunning — waking up to a peaceful, calm sea with no waves, and shallow water. The resort is located in a very quiet and tranquil area, perfect for anyone looking to disconnect from everyday stress, reconnect with nature, and simply relax.
What really made our stay special was the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. Their genuine warmth and eye for detail made us feel truly welcome and valued, not just like guests but like individuals. Small thoughtful touches throughout our stay added to that feeling.
The food deserves special praise. The sushi at the sushi bar was excellent — fresh, beautifully prepared, and among the best we’ve had during our travels. The à la carte breakfast was rich, varied, and of very high quality, making mornings something to look forward to.
We also loved the free kayak rental, which allowed us to paddle over to nearby Koh Kham — a fantastic experience and a great way to explore the area from the water.
As a very minor downside, our room already had some mosquitoes when we checked in, and the mosquito net over the bed did not fully protect us. This may well have been due to our own lack of experience in using mosquito nets properly, so it didn’t not significantly affect our overall impression.
All in all, Seavana Resort is a beautiful, peaceful place where you can truly slow down, enjoy nature, and unwind. We had a great stay and would happily return in the future. Highly recommended for couples seeking serenity and quality time together.

Lovely friendly and kind service. So relaxing and lovely thoughtful touches throughout the room and hotel, including lots of free activities such as kayaking, paddle boarding, books, games, snorkels and much more. And a speaker which had its own QR code linking to Spotify Seavana playlist. They had thoughtfully decorated our room for my friends birthday and kindly arranged our trip to a cooking class which was the highlight of our trip too!

We've had a wonderful three night stay. And next time will come longer.
The staff are so friendly and go out of their way to make it perfect for you.
The food is so good.
Breakfast so many options and so fresh.
The rooms are nice and spacious.
We will certainly come back.

This resort is absolutely stunning! It is such a peaceful and beautiful place to unwind. The bungalows are well set out and have ample space. The common areas including the breakfast area, pool, gardens, games and lounges are all so clean and well maintained. Highly recommended this place.

Very nice hotel with a great beach area.
The bungalows are clean, spacious, and very well located, although they are a bit outdated. The Walking Street is within walking distance.
You can rent motorbikes and golf carts directly at the hotel to explore the island.
Breakfast and dinner were very tasty, the staff were always extremely friendly, and the entire hotel complex is clean and well maintained.
Unfortunately, there is one major negative point:
Sun loungers and hammocks are taken every day by people who are clearly not hotel guests, which often means there is no space left for actual guests. When you address these people, they claim to be hotel guests, which is not true as they do not wear hotel wristbands and do not use hotel towels. This leads to constant and unpleasant discussions.
The staff say they cannot do anything about it.
It’s a real shame — otherwise, I would have booked this hotel again without hesitation, but I don’t want to deal with these discussions again.

Really great resort. Nice beach, beautiful rooms, good kitchen, kajak and mountainbikes & motorbikes for rent. For sure worth its price!

Amazing time at Seavana. If you are are staying on Koh Mak, just book this place and don't look back. We had a beachfront Villa, such a lovely stay and such lovely staff.

Fantastic place on the beach of Koh Mak. Nice people, excellent maintained. Modern style beach front villa's. Nice menu Thai and western style. Bike and Kayak for use.
