Pleasant Hotel, not the best views though

I've been going to this hotel for two years. The staff is not only very pleasant, but also attentive to their guests. The cleanliness is impeccable. We feel very safe, which is good because the airport is nearby.

Be careful when paying! Some receptionists aren't familiar with their own accounting. Even though the room rate was paid weeks in advance, they still charge you the same rate upon checkout! Be sure to bring proof of payment. I had lengthy arguments about this. Very annoying...

Everything about the hotel is great: the breakfast, the cleanliness, the amenities! The only thing that's lacking is the service. Although, perhaps that's because of the expectations. You have to wait a really long time for everything, and they might even forget about it. They apologize later, but they might screw up again anyway. Otherwise, everything is great!

Today there was an African diplomatic cultural event at the hotel all about celebrating international cultures 🌍✨ It was nice, we had a little fun and enjoyed the vibe. Overall, just a normal hotel experience.

This is a beautiful old Colonial hotel which is a bit worn around the edges. If you want modern amenities don’t come here but if you like a bit of nostalgia this is for you. Conveniently located in a quiet part of center city, close to the main avenue and ATMs, plenty of nearby dining options plus a good on-site tapas restaurant. Also, in the early morning when we were alrwady in the car driving to the airport, the staff member came running to us saying we have to pay something. My husband went up and he just said, oh yeah, all payed. How about not stressing your customers at 4:30 am? Have a list of the rooms that had charges open, and check immediatelly...

I stayed at the Ibis Hotel during my visit to Tunisia and I was really impressed. The breakfast was especially excellent — fresh products, delicious variety, and friendly service made for a perfect start to the day. The hotel is good for one night at most. The mattress and bed are separate, constantly rolling up, making it uncomfortable to sleep. Although this is a five-star hotel, the facilities are a bit dated since it was renovated over 20 years ago. However, the service is excellent, the front desk staff are very friendly, and the location is great – close to the Old Town, the train station, and major attractions.

I asked for milk for my tea, and they told me to wait a minute. They then went to get the milk, returned after thirty minutes, and gave me an excuse, saying that they didn't usually stock up on tea.

A decent hotel in at the end of old town markets. Good value for money and breakfast will get you by. I wish the TV had a few more channels for evening wind down, but not a dealbreaker. Would stay again.

Cleanliness needs to be addressed as the pillow and bed sheet have some stains, the hot water is inconsistent also we asked for in room iron but they couldn't provide, Overall for this price I don't recommend it.

The location is great, being in the center of town, but the building and facilities are old. As you can see in the photo, the TV was still a CRT analog TV as of January 2025. The room was spacious.

Stopped off for coffee during a Tunis trip. Yes it’s a little old fashioned, and - as with lots of places here - indoor smoking, but we had a warm welcome. Coffee was best I’ve had on the trip. Nice staff; good service. Location is very good, main strip near markets.

Great location and very kind staff, let me check in early and left me in peace for the duration of my stay. Hotel is a little dated and amenities are a little basic but it’s cosy and has nice views. Balcony door didn’t open but wasn’t too much of an issue. For the price and location this is a good option.

The taxi may not go into the hotel because of the small road. So you need to walk some distance to go to the hotel. Breakfast is good. Room is clean. WiFi is fast but only at the area near reception. You can’t get connected in your room.

The guest house is very nice but without private bathroom. During booking, this information was hidden and was not available at first glance. I needed to click twice + scroll down to see this important information. So this was a bad surprise to find out that there were only shared bathrooms.

The hotel has basic facilities but the staff were amazing and very helpful. One of them was nice enough t make me breakfast at 4am before I left for an early flight. Amazing service!
