We had a lovely stay in this beautiful hotel. It has recently been refurbished, the staff went out of their way to be helpful, the food was very good quality and the dinner menu nicely varied. I highly recommend.

It's a classy hotel, right in the center of Tunis. I had a large room, clean, good in shape, with friendly room service. A tiny balcony overlooking a park... The staff help efficiently. I once needed a laser pointer with clicker for a presentation, so they walked me to a store... This is my third stay at Majestic Hotel, I'll come again.

This is a beautiful old Colonial hotel which is a bit worn around the edges. If you want modern amenities don’t come here but if you like a bit of nostalgia this is for you. Thick walls ensure a quiet night and the bar serves alcohol which is a plus. They could do with an ‘espace non fumeur’ but this is Tunisia where almost everyone seems to smoke. Conveniently located in a quiet part of center city, close to the main avenue and ATMs, plenty of nearby dining options plus a good on-site tapas restaurant. Staff is very helpful, supportive, and friendly! Rooms are a little dated, but plenty of hot water for showers and the "superior" rooms are more spacious than most New York City apartments

Although this is a five-star hotel, the facilities are a bit dated since it was renovated over 20 years ago. However, the service is excellent, the front desk staff are very friendly, and the location is great – close to the Old Town, the train station, and major attractions.

I asked for milk for my tea, and they told me to wait a minute. They then went to get the milk, returned after thirty minutes, and gave me an excuse, saying that they didn't usually stock up on tea.

A decent hotel in at the end of old town markets. Good value for money and breakfast will get you by. I wish the TV had a few more channels for evening wind down, but not a dealbreaker. Would stay again.

Good business hotel It's a new and clean hotel. Room was as expected. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Neighborhood is more of a business area; a little on the noisy side. Not recommended if you are having a leisure trip.

Lovely room, emaculate, a shower and soaking bath, even a second bathroom. Three meals offered daily, the excellent and complete breakfast is included with the room. Meals are available during Ramadan. I really enjoyed my stay and would certainly recommend Novotel Tunis Lac

Everything others say is true. They have great facilities, friendly staff and the rooms look good. However, I had one bad experience. Do not let your food touch the tables directly. My lights were dimmed while I ate so I couldn't see they were not properly cleaned, even a table I never touched looked greasy. It's close to the airport, making it quite convenient for getting around. The name is easy to remember (surprisingly, this is a plus? I don't speak the language, but it seems many people know it, including taxi drivers, so...), and the staff are friendly. There are several embassies nearby, so the area should be relatively safe. Highly recommended.

The breakfast is good, the location is easy to find, and the environment is good. When you leave the hotel gate, go straight for more than 400 meters. There is a large local supermarket, Tunisia Mall. Shopping is convenient. Slippers are not provided in the hotel, and disposable toothbrush and toothpaste are not provided, you need to bring your own.

Very Average hotel, not good and not bad. The guys aren’t briefed it’s an ******* VIP hotel, an ******* traveler is a standard traveler for them. Restaurant service is very average, you need to ask and re-ask again the staff in order to get the service.

The whole hotel is relatively quiet, giving people a sense of security. The breakfast service staff downstairs is very friendly. You can order fried eggs and sometimes beef liver. But there is no place to go around.

The Novotel is clean, dependable, quiet, and peaceful. The sheets always feel clean, the shower has good pressure and temperature, the breakfast is nice, and we always feel relaxed there.

The staff was so friendly! I felt extremely welcome and well cared for - from the spa to the gentlemen who picked me up at the airport. The rooftop gym, pool, and bar were also lovely!

Starting by the check-in, Mohamed, the responsible of the night shift, was extremely helpful! Offering me as well a room upgrade! The room was fine, the other staff, especially on the front desk, were all helpful! The breakfast is fine, but i didn't understand why is 70% of it is for the sweets!

Overall great Hotel - 2 priorities when you travel on business, WI-Fi and AC especially when 40 degrees outside. Menu dinner menu somewhat limited and hasn’t changed in 3 years. Burger wasn’t great, bread was stale. The Brique with Tuna was excellent.

The hotel is really well located at the entrance to the Medina. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good if you like Tunisian-style. The shower needs some work as the shower head would not stay up (my father’s room was the same). Otherwise a good stay. Will be back later in the week.

Unfortunately we had a bad experience because on the last day we asked at the hotel how we could go to see Carthage etc and they recommended a hotel taxi with a price for the 2 hours we needed, well in the end the taxi driver took us where he wanted and was also increasing the time to save more, when we arrived at the airport he told us that he had nothing to do with the hotel and charged us more,...

The suite room was quite spacious, though it had a slight odor. The breakfast was good; the freshly squeezed pomegranate juice was a great option. The seafood noodles for dinner were decent, and the portion was quite large (picture 3).

My experience at Business Hotel was pleasant. Friendly staff and the room was clean overall. The location was not ideal but it was close to the airport.. so that’s a plus as well.

Don't go! I hardly slept after staying there for one night! The dance hall on the first floor of the hotel started dancing at around 10pm! It lasted until around 1am!!! We spent New Year's Eve with our family in this magnificent house, located in La Medina. It is large and comfortable, ideal for six guests. We were very well looked after by the owner.

My stay at the hotel was really amazing, the check in and check out was very fast, the rooms are big, bed and the linien comfy. I would like to say special thanks to Mr Ramzi! He is a wonderful, helpful person, speaking several languages, made my stay feel amazing with his help he offered to me.

I loved staying here. The staff are so helpful and accommodating. The room was lovely and big. Bathroom included a bathtub. I have a friend in Tunisia who met us and drove us to this hotel. The streets became very narrow and we eventually had to pull over and walk. It's in a busy market area and gives you a really authentic feel of Tunisian life. What a great place to stay! We really loved the place, the fibes and the service. Ignore the bad reviews. I read them and they complained about the fact that there is no access by car. That is true, but that is valid for all locations in the medina. The beds are great and the location can easily be accessed with the help of Google maps. Go here! I wish we did sooner :)
