Tropicana Beach Hotel in Guembet

The hotel is clean and smart very close to the beach and short walk to the main area, staff are friendly and helpful. Would advice paying for food and drinks early and not run up a bill. Food is good quality.

Just arrived home after spending a week at Tropicana self catering apartment. Many guests return here year after year due to the owner and his amazing staff. Never a dull moment they will always have you laughing. Great pool, variety of good fresh foods to choose from and the cocktails are fab! And nothing is to much trouble. Location is within easy (10 minutes) walk of a variety of bars, restaurants and shops. Apartment rooms are nice size with little kitchen, fridge, kettle and cleaned throughout your stay.

Nice hotel in a nice area of town away from the noise and crowds, whilst only a 10 minute walk along the beach to get to the main restaurants and shops. Pool area is nice but as others have stated it’s deep throughout. Always seemed to be enough sunbeds, though I did get up at 8ish to choose our preferred area. Noticed staff getting more sunbeds out when needed. We only ate lunch round the pool, food was lovely, though slightly on the more expensive side as you’d expect of a hotel. I’d say the downside for me was the location of the room, we were down in 319, the view from the balcony looked out at the mess at the back of the neighbouring hotel, so unfortunately we couldn’t sit out and the curtains were constantly closed. I did ask for a high room with a view, I guess I got one of my requests but would not recommend this room for that reason. I would return though not in a rush, much prefer different areas of Turkey.

Lovely hotel , it is basic but it’s clean ( ours was done every day ) and the staff are friendly they cannot do enough for you . We ate at the hotel a few times and the food was always lovely. Drinks are a bit pricier in general than last time we came to turkey but think that’s everywhere and the hotel is bit more expensive than the main strip but the cocktails were delicious . The bar staff were great very entertaining and just very nice cannot wait to return .

The apartments themselves are clean enough and the cleaners are in every day (sheets/towels every 2nd day) but the rooms are badly in need of some modernisation. If you are planning on cooking meals on holiday I wouldn't recommend. The staff are great and very friendly, always willing to help and have a laugh. Great big pool but note that apart from the steps the whole pool is 6ft deep, there is no shallow end for kids. Food in the hotel is decent but is more expensive than eating out. The one thing it lacks is some entertainment during the day, they really need someone to organise some pool games and maybe pool tournaments etc or get a table tennis table so folk have something to break the day up. Overall it's a decent place but needs an update

Great hotel friendly staff very clean . Good at the hotel was nice to but if you want to go out your close enough to restaurants and bars plus shops, Beach not great that’s the only thing that lets this hotel down. We will definitely be returning.
