Majeste Hotel Bodrum in Bodrum

This hotel was beyond filthy. The second I walked into the room, the stench hit me. The bathroom was revolting – mold all over the tiles, a disgusting shower, and a toilet that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. It was so nasty I didn’t even want to touch anything.

For the money I spent, I expected at least a clean room, but instead I got this dump. I felt dirtier after staying here than before I checked in. They “changed” our room the next day, but guess what? It was just as filthy. Nothing improved.

On top of that, the staff was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. Zero customer service, zero care for guests.

This was hands down the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Stay far, far away from this place. Total waste of money and a disgusting nightmare.

Stay away from this hotel
I paid 195 euros for a two-night stay at the hotel with my spouse. Our check-in date was July 15. However, the hotel disturbed me late at night on July 14, calling twice between 22:00 and 23:00, asking what time I would arrive.

When we checked in, the air conditioner was not working. We had to sleep in a room without air conditioning, drenched in sweat on the first night. The hygiene conditions were terrible. The staff were unfriendly and unprofessional, showing no hospitality.

The breakfast was far from appetizing — the food was unappealing and even ruined our appetite. The kitchen area was full of flies, which was very unhygienic.

On the morning of July 17, the day of our check-out, there was a water outage in the hotel. The water tank was clearly insufficient for a hotel of this size. I could not wash my face or take a shower before leaving.

I am a Norwegian citizen and have stayed in hotels in many cities around the world — this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had.

The hotel was disgusting. Dirty and unkempt. The room we had was so bad I am only glad we only booked for one night if not we would have checked out immediately. The bathroom was appalling. I would not use it. The pool was a mess the sunbeds were years old and left all over the place. Breakfast had a collection of cats and flies that were everywhere and no coffee or tea we went out to eat and paid for breakfast.

We chose it as 3 adults and 1 baby. The rooms were very dirty. My wife and I set out from Istanbul for business reasons and had a route of Izmir Bodrum Antalya Ankara, and we stayed one night in each city, but we could not stay in Bodrum. We checked in to the room at around 22.00 in the evening and left the hotel at 23.30 the same evening. Do you think why the hotel is dirty? We turned a blind eye and decided that we would set out as soon as we woke up early in the morning and not have breakfast. But we all went to sleep mode. My baby got restless and when we turned on the light, there were so many WOOD BUGS everywhere that I can't explain. If we had stayed for half an hour more, they would have bitten my 21-month-old baby and us everywhere. And in that anger, we immediately told the friend at the reception that the only thing they were trying to do was to offer to give us another room. Of course, we never agreed to stay because my wife had a baby. He offered, but we checked out immediately, saying "I'd rather sleep in the car with that tiredness." And by the way, the hotel was recommended with ETS tour assurance. When we contacted ETS tour, they said they couldn't do anything. They offered another room, but we didn't accept it, would you do it? In short, it's a place I will never stay in again. .If you want to sleep among BUGS, you can choose. I am 32 years old and I have never encountered such an incident until now.
