We arrived very late — around 2 a.m. on Sunday morning — but were immediately greeted by friendly, attentive staff who checked us in quickly and even helped set up the Wi-Fi for me.
The next five days were amazing.
For me, the gym was perfect — well-equipped and run by a bodybuilding professional who also sells protein shakes, so there’s no need to pack your own.
For my daughter, the kids’ club was a dream: daily activities like T-shirt making, cookie baking, and face painting kept her entertained. The kids’ pool felt very safe, and the water park team were fantastic — fun, chatty, and attentive. I never once felt uneasy.
The buffet food was incredible: a huge variety of delicious Turkish dishes. (If you’re after a full English breakfast, this might not be for you — but for those who love trying new flavours, it’s perfect!)
We had a small mix-up with our restaurant booking on the final night, but chef Salih Duman and the Lalezar team went above and beyond to fit us in. We ended up enjoying the most amazing Turkish tasting menu.
The biggest highlight, though, was the Hammam massage I shared with my daughter. Watching her giggle non-stop while covered in chocolate and bubbles is a memory I’ll treasure forever.
Truly, one of the holidays of a lifetime
Tips to improve: allow more a la carte availability as we were not able to get in (thankfully other food options were all superb); sweep the terraces outside the roo.
