Very nice and comfy rooms. The only thing I recommend is that you ask about the hot water situation in the rooms. Besides that it was nice and clean. I stayed here in the winter season which was very quiet and calm. In the summer time I believe it would be very crowded. The restaurant is perfect. Breakfast is the best. I definitely recommend this place.

We, a family of 10 people ages ranging from 80 to 19, had a very pleasant, week long vacation here. The rooms are very clean and entrance level rooms are great for those, like my parents, who have difficulty walking. The sea is super clean and clear. The food is delicious. The location is great, everything you’ll need and want is within a few minutes walking distance. Above all the service is top notch. I have been fortunate to travel around the world and stay at 7+ star hotels and can attest that the service here tops it all. Every single member of the hotel staff, including the owners, are extremely nice, kind, personable and hospitable. They have helped us both with pleasant activities such as decorating the deck for my sister’s birthday dinner and unpleasant things such as calling an ambulance for my father and guiding us to the hospital in Marmaris. Ms. Derya even cried like a family member as she was helping us put my father to the ambulance. Our stay couldn’t have been better thanks to the staff. We are forever grateful to every single person working here in particular Ms. Derya, Mr. Bayram and Mr. Hasan, Ms. Sebnem and her spouse for treating us even better than a family would. The other guests were as kind and friendly and I’ve heard high praise from them too about the hotel and the staff. We’d love to be back hopefully next year!

If I could leave 10 stars I would.
First of all, they have the most beautiful rooms in selimiye overall, cleanliness is 10/10. Their food taste great and alcohol beverages are priced lower than other restaurants here. Most importantly, they make you feel like you’re in a 5 star hotel in maldives with their care and kindness at all times. Pleasant nice conversations with the owner, asking us how we slept last night and if it was comfortable made us feel home and welcomed. They also helped us find a free parking although we have already checked out. Stop looking for other hotels in selimiye, come over and enjoy your vacation.

Literally the best restaurant I’ve ever been to in Turkey! I’m from Pennsylvania and I visit Turkey once a year and I’m definitely coming back to Base. They’re located right on the shore with the most comfy looking booths I’ve ever seen. We walked in and were greeted with a group of very friendly and attentive people who we later learned was a married couple and their young son who was the bartender. We liked them so much in fact that we decided to stay in Selimiye for another night to stay at their hotel which is behind the restaurant. I got to try a bunch of different meals and drinks, the lamb chops were my favorite. They even made a custom meal for my grandma who’s vegetarian the pickiest eater I know and she loved it. The rooms are nice, very clean and spacious. If you’re looking for a nice chill family owned hotel this is the place for you!! 10/10 would come again🥰🥰

We had a wonderful stay at Base Selimiye. Rooms and garden are elegant, comfortable, and well appointed; breakfast is scrumptious; and service is warm and attentive. The location is also ideal: it’s centrally located, the sea is just feet away,, and a nice stretch of shallow water makes it great for families with kids. The owner, Şebnem hanım, and the manager, Hasan bey, do an amazing job of making you feel at home! Thanks for a wonderful visit!
