Marti Hemithea Hotel in Orhaniye

The Marti Resort Delux Hotel has received numerous industry awards and lives up to its star rating. Briefly about the main features (as of June 2021): LOCATION: One of the hotel's top advantages. Its location at the foot of a mountain range and on the beachfront, opposite the islands, offers stunning views from both the hotel rooms and the main restaurant's summer terrace. The environment is pristine. Approximately 8 km to the center of Marmaris, 3-4 km to the dolphinarium, 1.5 km to the center of Icmeler. GROUNDS: Despite the hotel's venerable age (opened in 1969), thanks to its renovation, it looks far from tired and even very interesting – the interior of the main hall is designed in the style of a medieval castle, with corresponding installations and accessories. The hotel grounds are very green, clean, and well-maintained, and a gardener is on duty at all times. Its unique feature is the remains of an ancient Christian monastery dating back to the 7th century AD, located near the central entrance. Artifacts from the excavations were used to decorate the aforementioned main hall. INFRASTRUCTURE: convenient and compact. I won't go into detail – you can read about it on any website. I'll just add that there are shops on site where you can buy leather goods (direct from the factory) and high-quality bags at good prices. STAFF: a significant advantage of the hotel. Very attentive, friendly, and polite, they strive to please in every way – from the restaurant to the beach. However, almost all the staff speak English (Marmaris is a resort primarily aimed at European tourists), so if you have difficulty with this language, I recommend downloading a translator app. The hamam employs Thai women who give excellent Thai massages. Security is constantly on duty at the entrance from the promenade, and the private beach has service personnel and a lifeguard. FOOD: decent. The chefs are excellent and cook delicious food! A wide selection of fruit, a great selection of meat (beef, veal, lamb, chicken, turkey) and fish (seafood, river, and salmon). A varied grill menu. There are four types of Turkish ice cream. The alcohol menu includes an extensive selection of local and Bulgarian drinks (the tequila was a delight), Red Label whiskey, Gordon's gin, Martini Bianco vermouth, and a cocktail menu. Fresh juices were not available, but they do make Turkish coffee in cezves and have a pastry shop. ENTERTAINMENT: The team is great and proactive, but quarantine restrictions limited their scope. Therefore, during our stay, there was soft entertainment (water polo, aqua aerobics, boccia, darts). We also enjoyed the yoga classes on the lawn and the abdominal exercises (special thanks to fitness instructor Asya). By the time we left, evening entertainment was already gradually being allowed to resume. TO SUMMARY: the hotel deserves its high rating and deserves tourist attention as a worthy destination for relaxation and wellness. Have a wonderful summer and wonderful holidays!

A solid five-star hotel. The rooms are nice, the scenery and sea are superb. The food is good and varied. It's built on the ruins of a monastery. Dolmushis (dolmus) go from the hotel to the city center for 5 lira. There's no entertainment at the hotel, as is the case throughout Turkey.

Overall, a great hotel. Wonderful staff, good food. Beautiful green grounds, two outdoor pools and one heated indoor pool. Private beach with plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas. Cleaning was a bit of an issue. Otherwise, everything was great. I recommend it.

We had a beautiful suite which was very clean and the room had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. We also took our dog who was welcomed with treats and dog bowls. We had a great view of the pool and the sea. The spa was fairly priced so we went twice! All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back amd stay longer next time.

Very lovely resort with an amazing view of the mountains, easy access to the beach. Came as a family of seven and received wonderful service from the Assistant manager and the entire team who were very polite and friendly.
Will recommend and come back again.

Don't believe all the bad reviews some people try to hold the hotel to ransom.. we are in room 216. With a stunning sea view and a L shape sofa, very clean and easy access to everything... Yet the last person here wrote a terrible review of the this room. Yes a lamp shade had a split in it.. the shower door on the outside has sealent on it.. but not dirt and certainly not fit for use...
This hotel is stunning beautiful and clean lovely beach you can eat from 7:30 to 00:00 unlimited water and coffee around the clock. Various cocktails and drinks included.. Food is international catering no pork.. Muslim country.. but you not starve.. kids meals chips and spaghetti for breakfasts I know buts it kids heaven .. on the whole they try to please different tastes..

Overall amazing holiday here at the MARTI Resort, it was our first time to Turkey and an experience to remember, We will be coming back!

When we first arrived there was a mix up with the rooms but were very quick to react in rectifying. The hotel is in a great location with ease of access all across Icmeler and Marmaris with plenty of activities and excursion to suit your preferences.

A big part of our experience was heightened by the wonderful bar staff especially in the evening at Physkos Bar and the proactive entertainment staff with the best evening entertainment shows we've seen at an all inclusive before, prepare yourselves for the hilarious bingo bongo nights!

Also a special shout out to the spa run by Danny, services were excellent and staff very accommodating and relaxing. The Turkish Bath is a must try I would recommend to all.

Only downside for us is the hotel is rather old so a few issues with the rooms arose with some sockets not working and such but nothing pivotal for us.

The hotel is secluded. No alternative restaurants or bars in the area. The bar in the hotel rests only serves drinks at dinner.
It is however, a beautiful place surrounded by green mountains, a marina and beautiful sunsets. The staff were friendly, kind and helpful. They happily coordinated transportation for me when needed. I used a taxi to visit old town Marmaris which is a 25-30 min drive from the hotel. If you are looking to have access to restaurants or entertainment this will not be the right hotel, but if you are looking for boat rentals, yacht rentals or just peace and quiet, this is the perfect place.
I caught up on sleep and enjoyed the calmness of the water on both nights of my stay.
