Ankara Hotel Midi in Ankara

My grandparents recently stayed at Hotel Midi in Ankara for a couple of days, and their experience was truly excellent from start to finish. Even before they arrived, I was impressed by the level of service. I had been coordinating the trip on their behalf, and Mustafa from the reception was especially wonderful—he responded to all of my emails very promptly despite the time difference and was always patient and clear in his replies. His quick communication gave me great peace of mind and made the entire planning process so much smoother.

When my grandparents arrived at the hotel, they immediately felt welcomed. The staff were warm, attentive, and consistently went out of their way to ensure comfort. A small but telling example was with dental kits: these weren’t included in the room by default, but as soon as we asked, they were delivered right away. From then on, fresh kits were placed in the room daily without us needing to ask again. That kind of thoughtful follow-through made a big difference.

The hotel itself was clean, well-maintained, and had a calm, comfortable atmosphere that my grandparents really appreciated. Breakfast was also quite good, with a variety of options that worked well for them.

One thing worth noting is that the location can be a little challenging to explore on foot due to the steep inclines in the surrounding area. For older travelers especially, this might be tiring. However, the hotel offers transportation services that help balance this out. While there is an additional charge, I found it very worthwhile. The staff arranged for the same driver each time, which not only added convenience but also gave my grandparents a sense of safety and familiarity.

Overall, Hotel Midi exceeded expectations. The staff’s kindness and professionalism made the stay so much more enjoyable, and Mustafa’s attentive communication before and during the trip really stood out. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ankara, especially those who value excellent service and a truly welcoming environment.

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. Good service, friendly staff at reception. Clean rooms, and tasty breakfasts. The location of the hotel itself is in a nice quiet neighbourhood. Within walking distance, shops, shopping centres and parks for walking.

Great hotel; classic in a nice way. Room was spacious and nice. Breakfast was authentic Turkish breakfast with great options of variety. Staff are very friendly and offer help and advice. Location is always great and nearby mall is 5 min walking distance and it has all shopping options
