Hotel Abro Sezenler in Ankara

Do not book in this hotel. It is extremely unsafe and disgusting. No windows in most of the rooms and everything is broken…AC, toilets… There is mold on the walls as well.
Stay away from this abandonned hotel please, in order to enjoy your stay in the nice city of Ankara ☺️
I decided to cancel the night after visiting 3 rooms that were completely unlivable.

it was really really bad, Nothing in the room works, they tried to give me a different room instead of the room I booked. Even one star is too much for this hotel

"The air conditioner was turning off automatically every 15 minutes. I informed the hotel, but they did nothing. The water in the bathtub is cold. There is a TV in the room without a receiver.

Everything was terrible except the receptionist. The room smelled disgusting, the beds were not comfortable at all. The sheets had not been changed, it smelled bad and most importantly, THE ROOM WAS FREEZING, you are guaranteed to freeze. This price is way too much for a 1 star hotel. I do not approve of this place, it is disgusting.

I have never been disappointed with any accommodation except with this one. As told by one of its staff, the owner of the hotel does not bother whether the clients are satisfied or not. Imagine that one has to pay 50 TL for each bag he leaves at the reception. During daytime, if you want to have some coffee or tea, you also have to pay for it. In all hotels I have been to in Turkey, coffee, tea and water are offered for the guest 24/7. Bed sheets and other cleaning of the room is done once in three days. We spent three nights in that hotel,and our room was neither cleaned or our towels and bed sheets changed. As far as breakfast is concerned, it is simply some olives, tomato slices, cucumber slices, tea and some marmalade plus hard boiled eggs. For our first breakfast, there was no coffee and I had to call on the manager to have some instant coffee. "In turkey, we drink tea for breakfast" said the lady serving at the "restaurant". I attached some photos of our room to show that any money paid at that hotel is simply a waste of money.

It was not clean in terms of cleanliness and there were no facilities but there was interest.

I spent 3 days at Abro Sezenler Hotel, and it was a terrible experience. Despite expecting a comfortable environment for my work trip, I was disappointed from the start. I ended up paying for a room twice, and the actual room was nothing like the photos—cold with a broken heater, leaking bathroom, dirty linens, and stained towels. Breakfast was appalling, featuring rotting vegetables, and I was shocked to see staff mixing leftover food back into the buffet. To top it off, the staff's greed was evident when I was asked to pay extra without reasonable explanation. I strongly advise against staying here.
