Area is not ideal for tourists its real life of locals. But Ankara castle is nearby and mausoleum of Ataturk is in 30min walk.
Best of all are the nearby market and restaurants featuring local food. Hats off to the staff who were helpful and willing to communicate by Google Translate.
The hotel is very well located for tourists. It is at the foot of the castle hill, and also also quite close to the Museum of Anatolian Civilisation. Nearby in another direction lie the Roman ruins of Ancyra, including the Temple of Augustus. The rooms are clean and well-sized. The staff are very kind and friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. It was a good place to stay.
