The outside fooled me! They renovation it to look inviting, but the room was horrible, carpet looked very dirty not cleaned for years. Old and outdated! Very racist! I kept pictures how left the room so there is no question my expectations. In addition, the door noticed had a whole when you opened it the others were fine. I checked out the next day fir better quality of life. Also smokey, as do not smoke! I will never stay there, again! Oh, no iron in the room, breakfast, but seen some people sitting eating food. They never explained anything, maybe they thought I live in anything. I have high standards and this hotel will never be on my list. So bottom line outside can fool you, also let me say they made a copy of my passport. The atmosphere felt so unwelcome and it showed because of my skin. I will never spend a dime at tge low class place again.

The most terrible hotel I have ever stayed in. Do you want to spoil all the impressions from Ankara? You are definitely here. Old and dirty linens mixed with cigarette smell and filthy rooms. You won't get breakfast. We moved to another hotel, the money was not returned.

It was a hot, sunny day and I stopped in front of this hotel to meet somebody.

Within 30 seconds the staff ran outside to tell me I’m not allowed to wait in front of the hotel (where there are empty tables and chairs, specifically for meetings).

I politely stepped aside 2 meters to accommodate the request and now I’m politely leaving this review.

Next time I’m traveling or working in Ankara, the last place I would go is the “Grand Work Hotel”.

I asked if breakfast is included and if it's same as pictures before booking king suite (VIP) they said yes but after booking was told the breakfast is only one bowl of soup, that's it! Literally a bowl of soup for VIP room! Also, they mentioned there's jacuzzi but there was only a normal small bathtub!! And the veiw was horrible. Room was too cold the heater won't come on until 11pm, during day time we're forced to use a broken electric heater! There is no service whatsoever. They refused to refund me even a partial credit so was forced to stay.

My main one star reason is the rudeness of the receptionist lady who always shakes her head whenever I needed help and ignores my requests or questions, was told by the taxi driver who was helping me carrying bags out after checking out, that she was talking trash about me with her colleagues for not speaking Turkish also for not using mini bar. He told me that they pay him to bring tourists to this hotel that's why he couldn't tell me at the hotel and waited until I reached the airport.

Avoid this hotel not worth a penny.
