Reviews
The front desk staff struggled with English and were not particularly friendly or helpful, which was disappointing. Housekeeping was also below standard – the bed was made poorly, towels were left hanging, and overall cleanliness felt careless.
One small positive was that the toilet paper had a rose scent, but the amenities were very basic: just shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, with no body lotion provided. On one occasion, I returned to find the phone next to the toilet had fallen off the wall, likely during cleaning.
Breakfast was included, but options were very limited for international guests. Fried eggs or omelets were only available if you knew to ask, and simple items like olive oil weren’t offered.
I also tried the spa, but the experience was far from what you’d expect at a 5-star hotel. The therapist didn’t understand any English, which made the session uncomfortable rather than relaxing.
Overall, I left wondering by what standards this property is considered 5 stars. Unfortunately, I would not recommend it to foreign travelers.
For the high prices they charge, the quality is far below what you would expect.
Overall, this hotel is not worth the money. I strongly suggest looking for other accommodation options that actually value cleanliness, comfort, and customer services
However, overall, I liked the hotel and felt safe and relaxed.
The massage service, performed by a very professional Thai lady named Sosi, completely took away the fatigue of the trip.
The staff were very friendly and polite.
The hotel was convenient, and seems safe.
Thank you :)
On the positive side, the reception staff were friendly and helpful. Also, the coffee and the café spot were actually quite nice. Good view of Van castle.
Some of the rooms needed maintenance, and the location wasn’t ideal—right next to two busy roads and directly across from a mosque, so it could get quite noisy.
One major issue was that my room door didn’t lock automatically—you had to double check to make sure it was actually locked, which didn’t feel very safe.
We mainly chose this hotel for the pool and spa, but that turned out to be a disappointment. The pool was small, cold, and poorly maintained. The sauna and bathroom areas were dirty, and there weren’t even any towels provided. It really felt like they just added these facilities to meet a requirement, not for actual use.
Breakfast was very average—not what you’d expect from a 5-star hotel. It was the same every morning with no variety, and the staff seemed annoyed when we asked for something 😅
