Overall a good hotel, but somewhat poorly located. So there's nothing you can do about it. The massage was good. The service was too.

The hotel room showed the sign of age but it was still clean. I was happy to have offered an upgrade of room with good view of the Van lake. Unfortunately, I couldn’t sleep well because the centralised air conditioning system made me sweat throughout the night. The room was so hot! Staff were helpful and polite. The location is very good, right across from the lake. The rooms are clean, the staff is very welcoming. The breakfast is open buffet and very good. You can even order your eggs in the morning. Everything was very good, we were very pleased. Thank you.

I don't know why Ctrip always arranges a room for me as a black brick member, either at the end or next to the elevator. This hotel seems to be made of plastic. The sound of the people walking upstairs is very clear, and the people taking a shower can be heard clearly.

The room is large and clean. The surrounding is quiet and conducive to sleep. The breakfast is rich. The front desk and restaurant waiters are very enthusiastic. There is a parking lot. I have recommended it to my friends.

It was fantastic experience, wonderful atmosphere highly recommended place 😍

The room size was good. It was a bit strange that no fried or scrambled eggs were served for breakfast. However, overall, I liked the hotel and felt safe and relaxed. The massage service, performed by a very professional Thai lady named Sosi, completely took away the fatigue of the trip. The staff were very friendly and polite.

It's a good place to stay in and rest. The staff are very professional and polite. The breakfast was decent but not 5star worthy. The accessibility of the place is also great. Restaurants, cafes, pharmacy, boutiques and more are all in walking distance. The rooms were clean and sanitary but the equipment can benefit from maintenance or upgrade. All in all a satisfactory accommodation.

Elite World Hotel is located in the center of downtown Van with excellent shopping opportunities. The rooms are very clean and well appointed, some with a view of Van Lake and the downtown area. The complimentary breakfast is excellent. While there I enjoyed the spa services including a massage and Turkish bath with Kadek. She was exceptional!

To be honest with you all the hotel is very good. The breakfast is super delicious The staff is smiling. Everyone is very good. Especially in the reception, Abdullah and Mohammad is very helpful. We had some troubles during the check-in, guys on the register desk couldn’t figure out how to find our booking and how to process our is cards. In general, the hotel looks very nice except the cigarette smell inside the room. Seems like each person who lived there smoked a lot. If we are talking about breakfast it was nice.

Except food choice in this period of coronavirus, the staff is super helpful and friendly in Persian, Turkish and English. Standard of the rooms is high (space and facilities). Great staff, negotiable price (we had a double room for 100 TL), parking is not closed but on the hotel street which is quiet and with several security cameras...room and facilities are old and worn but clean, as expected for low price. Location very good, right in the center.

Staff great. Especially the manager Mr. Kamal. A lost clear. Location is good. Good breakfast but the restaurant which near hotel were not good. That restaurant is belong to the hotel.

Standard mediocre hotel....basic. No hot water in sink and shower non functional. Overnight only here.

Not so good but price is reasonable but negotiate by reception to take discount is important the hotel is not very clean and it hasn’t air condition.

The location is great, close to city center and away from the main street, so it does not get so loud. Unfortunately the room I got was smoked heavily inside although was a non smoker room. Breakfast was fresh and good. The lamp installed inside the room is too dark, can get annoying if one has something to do at night. The internet connection is unstable and slow.

This hotel has hot water and has good receptionists such as Mr. Ali who knows persian language.

We stayed for twelve days. The staff were very nice and friendly. They helped us a lot. The breakfast was varied and good. The rooms were cleaned regularly. It had a good heating system. We really enjoyed it. I would like to thank the whole complex and hope to see them again. Also, the people of Van, who were very nice and kind people. With hope for more success

Very normal The room was normal for the price. The biggest problem was the smell of cigarettes in the hallway and elevator. It felt like people were allowed to smoke in the rooms, which was not okay. It was also a bit noisy from outside, which makes me think the room was not soundproof. But other than that, the staff were kind and respectful, and I really appreciated that.

It was good except for the bathroom but considering the price it's not a problem..

Much nicer than expected. We were lucky enough to get a spacious corner room

Location is grate. You can walk to main street and shopping centers. Breakfast is as a complete buffet (famous Van breakfast). There is a private parking beside the hotel. The staff are helpful. The room was large enough, quiet, clean and comfortable WiFi was so weak in the room. The owner or the manager was sometimes smoking in his room and the smell of the cigarettes wafted through the lobby.

Friendly, helpful staff, great location and a comfortable base to visit the city and surrounding area. We had everything we wanted and could not have asked for more.

The hotel is centrally located in heart of Van and breakfast is served on the top floor which gives a nice view over the city and the lake (on clear days) no English spoken. The slight problem is that the hotel is not very well maintained. (Toilet dripping, remote not working) and cleanliness was mediocre as the carpet should have been better vacuumed

March 2012: Best hotel in Van! Best breakfast! Very helpfull Manager! I recommend!

Although the room was clear and comfortable, the hotel was a little bit old and there were some (minor) problems in the installments such as with the toilet flush. The breakfast was rich, but didn't like the quality. Overall, it could have been better, but it wasn't so expensive.

The staff were very helpful and the breakfast buffet was phenomenal. The hotel rooms are modern and clean. The decor in the lobby is very nice and it is an amazing place to chill and socialize with friends. If you are ever visiting Van there is no better place to stay than the Urartu Hotel.

The staff were concerned, the room hygiene was super. We were very comfortable with our 2 children. There was no park bed. We took our own bed. The room was not cramped. The breakfast was sufficient and the variety was delicious. There is a dining area on the terrace with a view of Erciş.

I was very satisfied with the hotel where I stayed for about ten days. The staff is cordial. Rooms are cleaned daily, very clean. There is a refrigerator, you have daily water available. There is no air conditioner in the room, there is a fan, the room is enough. Just as my advice, it would be very nice if the breakfast is corrected a little more and the varieties are increased.

We were going to stay for one day, but we had to stay two nights out of necessity. The lack of air conditioners at +35 temperature in the middle of summer is a big problem. The refrigerator is not cooling enough. But good for its price. Overall a clean hotel. Our room was by the Street. Since there was no air conditioning, we had to keep the windows open. And that's why it was so loud.

It's in a central location, the breakfast buffet is good with plenty of variety, we left the car on the main street because there is no parking area, the rooms are nice but there is no air conditioning and the refrigerator does not cool well, the prices are reasonable, the staff is good, I recommend it in general.

I stayed at this hotel on my business trip. I was very satisfied. The rooms were especially very clean, the employees were very concerned. They took care of us in every way. The location is very close to the center, you can definitely stay with peace of mind. 😊

A clean and new hotel in a central location. It also appeals to your pocket with its reasonable prices. The staff is very caring. They do their best to help. We came as a family and felt very comfortable. Since we haven't had breakfast yet, I can't comment on that.
