The location is peaceful, you can fall asleep to the sound of the waves, and the staff is friendly. That part was great. But for almost 200 euros per night, there was no extra pillow or iron in the room, which felt strange.

The food was the biggest disappointment. It was bland and dry, more like a school canteen than a Turkish restaurant. No baklava, not even on the weekend.

We were hoping for proper local dishes like adana kebab, urfa kebab, grilled lamb, warm flatbread, lahmacun or pide. None of that was served. We actually ate better at a cheap place in Canakkale for 50 euros for four people. For this price, the food should have been much better.
