There are only good things to say about the Nar Konak. I had a short stay there with a friend recently and felt completely at home , as if among longtime friends. Serpil Hanım's attention to detail, gracious hospitality, artistic creativity, and great recommendations for beaches and restaurants is amazing. Mutlu Hanım's warm welcome and kind thoughtfulness throughout the stay made us feel perfectly relaxed. The views from the hotel are amazing and a cool breeze makes even hot days feel bearable. Inside the hotel garden you feel you can completely unwind. There are plenty of quiet places to sit and enjoy the view, beautifully surrounded by flowers and shrubs. The location of the hotel is perfect and in easy walking distance of the ancient city. Our room at Nar Konak was spotlessly clean and beautifully arranged. Tea and coffee making facilities are in each room. The breakfasts are delicicious with homemade pastries and jam. I certainly hope I can visit the Nar Konak many more times!

My friend and I stayed at Nar Konak for 3 nights for a short vacation and to celebrate her birthday. Everything about it exceeded our expectations. Serpil Hanım is a superior hostess, and her attention to detail in every detail of hospitality at the Nar Konak really made us feel like we were absolutely spoiled. Mutlu Hanım's warmth and kindness made us feel so special. You really feel like you leave the Nar Konak with new friends. The breakfasts in the garden were absolutely exquisite, and included fresh-cut flowers and homemade pastries. I can't recommend their wonderful establishment enough, and I can't wait to return to Assos and the Nar Konak.

This is a fantastic place to stay in the medieval town just below the acropolis and temple. The owners couldn’t do enough for us, giving us lifts and collecting things from the pharmacy. Breakfasts were amazing with fresh produce from the garden. The room was beautiful and there are many lovely places to sit outside for reading and chilling. The property even has its own rock outcrops where you can take in the view. There is also an inside common room with books. Many nice cats including naughty kittens! Good Wi-Fi and air conditioning. Must be one of the best places we have ever stayed.

Lovely family run spot. Serpil is a lovely host and very caring. The breakfast was beautiful. The proximity to the ruins and the ancient fishing village is a big plus.

A beautiful stone house in the middle of Assos Spent two nights in a most romantic ancient stone house surrounded by the temple of Athena and rock boulders which st.paul gave sermons upon, catered for by the most gracious hosts Serpil and Rey. A must stay.

Visited Assos for my vacation trip for 3 days. The stay here at Nar Konak was STUNNING! Once you step in to the hotel you will feel the Assos stones right away used all over the place and makes you dive into the atmosphere of Assos ancient city. There were 5 rooms in total and the room was clean, tidy with very luxurious aroma, and beautiful handmade cute blanket on the bed. (I would buy it if they were on sale!) Once you step outside of the room there’s the spacious well-maintained garden with lots of tables and chairs to use which allows you to watch the amazing view of Assos village. I loved gazing the stars at night on stones in the garden! It’s also located right beneath the Assos ancient city so it’s super easy to visit the landmark of Assos! In the morning you will be able to enjoy delicious Turkish breakfast outside in the gardens. Chilled waters/sodas are there all day for complimentary. Thanks to the owner Ms. Serpil for the great hospitality and service! She is kind, generous, friendly, and has beautiful smile which makes you feel so comfortable and welcomed to this place. I’m in love with this place and will come back again for sure!

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances my wife and I had to cancel our entire trip to Turkey. I asked for a refund of the advance payment. I sent several emails. The hotel owner did not even bother to reply. It is sad. I think it is not only about the nice hotel, but also about the people.

This was one of our favorite hotels of all time. It’s perfect. Set in a small hilltop village, this tiny family run hotel has just 5 rooms. You are very well pampered by the owner and her staff. The views are incredible in all directions. You can be whipped by the winds off the sea or find shelter on a couch or Hammock with a cold bottle of beer. The rooms are simple but very lovely and comfortable. Breakfast is outstanding with an array of jams, olives, spreads, juices etc etc. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

If you are looking for a hotel when you come to Assosa, the right address is Mia Hotel, in the village, in the comfort of a 5-star hotel with its friendly staff, hygienic and clean luxury rooms, intertwined with nature.
