The price/quality ratio doesn't match the advertised prices!! The rooms are already starting to show their age (dirty curtains with holes, a broken closet door, and the bottom of the bed is dirty). The soundproofing is poor (you can hear everything, even the water running in the pool). Due to the nature of the tap water, soap, shower gels, and shampoos take a very long time to rinse off. The rooftop pool is very small with a poorly maintained floor.
The beach area is cleaned "for the winter" at the end of the season, but in reality, everything there is also tired. Many sun loungers and deck chairs are dirty. The steps leading down to the beach are littered with trash, cats, and a foul odor.
The breakfasts are okay, except for the chemically treated sausage and stale cucumbers. Some rooms face the wall of the neighboring building, so there's no view. I won't even mention the sun: naturally, you won't see it in your room. The old town and Lara Beach are a 1:15-1:30 hour walk away. There are shops and several restaurants nearby.
Housekeeping is adequate, and two bottles of water are provided free of charge daily.
The hotel is located in a residential area, not in the city center. It's very cozy, which is a plus for us.
