Could Be One of the Best
But Neglected

This hotel has great potential, but it feels like a place that was built and then forgotten.

The reception area is quite nice and gives a good first impression. However, once you head to the rooms, things change. The hallways are dark and poorly maintained, and unfortunately, the room aren’t at a better condition.

Our room had a beautiful view of the city and sea, and it was surprisingly spacious for a standard room. But that’s where the positives ended. The curtains were falling apart, the bathroom had several maintenance issues, and the furniture was worn and not well kept. The electronics (like the phone and AC) were outdated, not a major issue if the rest of the room had been in good shape, but that wasn’t the case.

Late at night, the sink started leaking. When we informed the staff, they quickly offered us another room, which was appreciated. The customer service throughout our stay was excellent, and the staff were helpful and kind. Unfortunately, even great service couldn’t make up for the poor maintenance.

The price was also quite high for what was offered. After checking out, our plans changed and we needed to stay another night in the city, but honestly, we didn’t even consider returning due to the lack of value for money.

Breakfast was nice, and the location of the hotel is excellent.

This place could easily be rated 4/5, but due to the condition of the rooms and overall maintenance issues, I can only give it 2.5/5.

To the hotel management: You have a solid foundation to work with — a great location, good room sizes, and friendly staff. All you need to do is maintain the property and fix the small but important issues. It’s frustrating to see a place that could be one of the best in a small town fall short because of things that are completely fixable.

Despite of so many hotel fires in Turkey this hotel still lets customers smoke in the rooms. Which means smoke detectors are not working. I stayed in a non-smoking room and there were cigarette burns on the desk. If customers want to smoke they should go out and smoke there not in the rooms by jeopardizing other customers lives.

Unfortunately the location is not the biggest attraction but the hotel wins in cleanliness, staff’s kindness, and the best hommus you will find is in this hotel’s restaurant.
