Review of Hotel Cheremosh

We went to the Carpathians expecting a hotel with service — we returned with a clear understanding that we were not in a hotel, but in a budget family guesthouse disguised as a “hotel and restaurant complex”.

It is important to be honest: the infrastructure here is old, and once this place was truly the pearl of Yablunytsia. This is felt in the planning, scale of the territory, the very idea of ​​the complex. But today this heritage is not supported and is not being developed.

The location is still strong: a forest, a slope, a stream, a bridge, a wooden hut with a fireplace. The territory has great potential and could be a cool recreation and photo area. However, they simply do not do this — the space exists by itself, without maintenance and without a service plan.

The declared infrastructure turned out to be formal in practice. The “fitness center” is a cluttered room with a minimum of equipment. SPA/wellness — a bathhouse, which during our stay created safety issues due to negligence. There is no reception as such — you have to constantly look for staff. Wi-Fi is weak and in the room it only works near the door.

The rooms are basic: there is a TV, but it doesn't work; there is no water, kettle or even glasses — one kettle for the entire hotel in the kitchen. The heating is unstable, the bathroom is cold and drafty after a shower. There is no soundproofing — you can hear everyone and everything. Cleaning is minimal, towels are replaced only after repeated requests. There are no bathrobes and slippers at all.

The food is disappointing: coffee of the same level as a vending machine, cheesecakes made from cottage cheese. The New Year's table was meager, portions were significantly smaller than agreed. Service on New Year's Eve — a separate story: the family and friends of the owners celebrated together with the staff in the hall with the guests. After the holidays, breakfasts looked like using up leftover holiday cuts.

The final feeling is this: this place may be suitable for organized budget stays, where everyone is ready for minimal service and autonomous living. But if you are looking for a hotel, silence, comfort, and service, you should choose other options.
