BALLET Hostel in Kiev

I stayed there only a single night, laid low, went to bed. When I woke up the receptionist had noticed from my passport information that it was my birthday and sent someone to buy me a chocolate cake from a patisserie as a surprise. The cake must have cost almost as much as my fee. Have to say, that's the best service I've seen in 5 months of hostels.

A comfortable place in the center of Kiev. Free excellent Breakfast. Friendly staff. Great setting. Normal price.

I stayed there before the pandemic. It was an absolutely great stay. We had a room just beside the reception but it was not noisy whatsoever, and the accommodation was very clean. The receptionists were lovely ladies and always very friendly and helpful - even when the language was a barrier. Valentyna helped us with maps and explained how to get to places (she even told us about a budget restaurant chain to eat at that was great). The hostel is close to many amenities such as restaurants and cafes, the Globus Mall, the Independence Square and a metro station (Khreshchatyk). I'm looking forward to coming back!

Good tiny hostel. I traveled with an acquaintance and we got a super tiny room which had a double deck bed, but to sleep overnight that was more than enough. Breakfast is served in the hotel. Independence Square and Khreshchatik Street are around the corner. A lot of bars and inexpensive restaurants in the neighborhood.

Very nice hostel in a good location, close to the center. The lady was very nice, letting us pay the next day since we did not have enough cash with us.
The room we booked was a private bunk bed and, although very small, was very clean, breakfast could be little bigger and I would not mind a coffe in the morning, but I understand it is a budget place and in Ukraine you can find lots of nice places to eat or drink;)
In general I have a good experience with the place and I think it deserves 5 stars.
