Lovely room on 7th floor overlooking Maidan, staff were amazing! Huge bed with a delightful sitting room, fridge, bathroom was large with a deep bath. Absolutely spotless. Staff were delightful and reception spoke English very well. I did have to go to the onsite bomb shelter, which was surprisingly comfortable with chairs to sit in, or like me, found a place to lie down.

If it's your first time to Kyiv, I highly recommend the Hotel Ukraine. It's an iconic, Soviet-era hotel with an outstanding view of the Independence Monument and Maidan Square - the heart of Kyiv. My first rip to Ukraine with my cousin and I, we were hosted by a very well spoken Maria at the front desk who was very helpfull amongst the ever so changing flight scheaule in UKraine and she helped us personally with finding out the newly flights out .... Stayed here on during a conference in Kyiv. It was a pleasant experience! The rooms are great and have a classic vibe, the team is great and helpful! SPA is impeccable. The atmosphere there is amazing. Loved that they have events like soundhealing and yoga there.

This was my first business trip to Kiev; I usually travel to Lviv. I often stay at Radisson hotels abroad, but I didn't expect such service here. The breakfasts are very tasty, and I especially appreciate the vegetarian options. They even offered me a breakfast to go when I left the hotel early, around 5 a.m.

All the facilities are very nice and modern, rooms had everything you could need (and I was given a room with great view of St Michael's Cathedral), and staff were friendly and helpful. I stayed for more than 10 days. The hotel room was nice. Also the sheets and towels were clean. We also had no problems with hot water and electricity outages.

GREAT LOCATION with painfully pretentious staff. Pro tip for all you service workers (I was one for years)…You are not fancy because your clientele are. I’ve stayed here twice and despite my wife being from Kyiv and speaking flawless Ukrainian and Russian, the desk always acts like we’re a burden. Even the two doormen are snobs.

I spent 8 days in August 2021 in this hotel, the welcome is warm very good service the activities in the sport are well maintained and equipped except if there are 2 devices mounted upside down and for the pool and sauna is a magnificent place except for those who will find it a little dark but very discreet. I stayed at this hotel in September for a couple of weeks. Service, the attitude from the team, room cleanliness were superb 👍🏻 From the personal security perspective it felt safe. Food was great too but because I was there for 2 weeks after first week the choice started feeling boring. While this hotel is categorised as 3-stars, it could easily pass for 4-stars. The room is comfortable, well insulated, and generally quiet. The rooms are a bit dated, but where the Opera shines is in service. The breakfast team is absolutely fabulous and go out of their way to prepare whatever you may desire (their Opera poached eggs are exceptional) and they make great coffee.
