Spacious Hostel with fully functional kitchen and regular active cleaning throughout the day. Front staff are very professional and friendly except one prejudiced lady complaining about nothing :)..in any case highly recommended

A very clean and tidy hostel. Everyone was very interested and the restaurant next to it has very delicious food. We had difficulties just because of check-in and check-out times. Check-in time is 3 p.m and the day is almost over in this season. Since the check-out time is 11 am, it does not compensate for the late check-in time.

Loved this place, of the 3 hostels this was my favorite. A few hiccups with booking but after that was resolved, I really enjoyed the location. It's close to lots if attractions, easy walking distance to many restaurants and shopping centers. The hostel has a kitchen with everything you need, a restaurant inside and help the whole time. I would stay here again.

Located in a beautiful neighborhood, the hostel features a very nice cafe at the ground floor. The staff is friendly. Rooms are clean and safe.

I've stayed here for a weekend and it was very enjoyable experience! The staff are friendly, you can use the laptop at the reception, beds are clean and showers are spacious. Dream Hostels family is well known in Ukraine and it's a trademark for a decent service. Location - Podil neighborhood - is awesome! Would stay here again :)

I loved it, it is the best combination between the price of a hostel with almost the privacy of your own room. What more do you need when traveling? You're just going to sleep there and anyways the pods are quite big for you to move around and organize your backpack or whatever. Amazing concept. Lovely staff. I love the fact that you have total privacy inside your capsule, regardless being a "hostel". The capsules are big enough so you feel comfortable in them. Everything is very clean. Good showers. Fast internet. Breakfast is the only thing I'd skip next time. It's all sweet items only. Will repeat the experience for sure.

The concept of private capsules is very good, it gives you complete privacy. I love the interior design, sophisticated loft style. There’s everything you need for a comfy stay either it is a dormitory or a single room. A pleasure to stay in a clean room, sleep on a big bed; the rooms aren’t small - even for crowded room you won’t be feeling in a tiny space, I like this decision not to save on room sizes. I stayed here for the last part of my holiday and there are a few things to note. The dorm beds are very nice for a hostel and the beds themselves are comfy and the curtains are great, but the top one is too high for short people like me. Honestly, I had a very hard time always getting up there and at night I avoided getting down in case I needed it, because I didn't feel safe doing it in the dark...

We rented the Urban Quarters Apartment and were very satisfied. It was clean, stylish and had character and ambiance. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be returning. The best hostel in Kiev good location, close to vagzol central rail station, walkable distance to metro,bus station. Very clean hostel.book in advance always full.

Pluses: Fairly cheap place, you can get a bunk bed for $7-10. Close to railway station. Close to bus station. Fairly clean. Has locker where you can put your stuff. Has breakfast, included in the price. Room and the closet open with the same magnet key. Have about 6 showers. Minuses: Room for 4 people was really small, even though you pay a bit more, you actually getting much less personal space....

Z Hostel is my go-to any time I am going through Kyiv. The prices are fair, the guests are respectful, and you can reserve rooms through their website for free. The staff are also tremendous, and the place offers a free, if modest breakfast, as well as free luggage storage on checkout day. Oh I had fun staying here. I was travelling solo. Rented my own single room here and was great. Very good price for 5 nights and lovely receptionist that stayed all night to make sure that place is safe. Nice place with wonderful staff, one toilet is better than the other.

I had to request one of the newer pods. The pods themselves are ok, and give good privacy. But the whole place was very hot, and it's a real hassle to do anything, like shower or go to toilet.

First time in one of these. Honestly, not bad if you know what you're getting yourself into. Would choose this over a regular hostel any day! If it wasn't for a mess at check in, four stars.

Was my first experience with a capsule hotel. It was nice because you have a little more privacy than a typical hostel. They have lockers that you can keep your stuff in, as well as a refrigerator if you want to get some groceries while you stay. The majority of the staff speak passable English. A few speak it fluently. The rooms are clean, they have 2 western toilets, 2 squat toilets and 2 urinals. They have male & female shower rooms. They have a washing machine also. I stayed here on different occasions and had no problems. They will assist you with public transportation. The service is first rate.

Feels a bit more like social housing than a hostel. Good location and cheap so there is that. Internet is fine.

The walls are very thin, people are very noisy till after midnight, always slamming doors. I’m not sure if they clean the toilets. Showers are fine with plenty of hot water. The overall place seems small and darker than pictured. Metro is close, which is nice. Would not stay here again.

When I came to the hostel the staff welcomed me very friendly and showed me around. When I entered my room I told them, that I can't sleep there. It was just too stinky. Very convenient location and the station and the center nearby. The room was better than in the photo, has everything you need for living: wardrobe, slippers, shower cosmetics, hair dryer, refrigerator, TV, enough outlets (including by the bed). Quiet, cozy place with unobtrusive caring service. You can see beautiful views from the windows, I recommend staying here ☺️

We (3 friends) have been there on sunday. The girls at the reception are very friendly and could answer all our questions. The hostel is very familiar and nice. It is possible to store the bags till you have to go to the airport after checkout. Thanks again for everything!

Small hostel in the city center of Kiew. The entrance is not easy to find and you have to knock/bell that somebody opens your door. There is drinking water available - that’s a huge advantage (be careful with the tap water). Lockers are there (deposit required) as well as a good working WiFi. Unfortunately there is no cozy chill room and therefore not to much opportunity to talk to other tourists....

I stayed a few nights in this wonderful hostel during my trip to Kiev. This place is very welcoming and happy. The room and the common areas were sparklingly clean and the whole atmosphere was great. The location is also unbeatable! You step outside and you’re in the heart of the city. Highly recommend Friends Forever for all the travelers!

I found choosing a hostel in Kyiv strangely difficult; some were cheap but far away; others were cheap and well located but looked terrible. Good tiny hostel. I traveled with an acquaintance and we got a super tiny room which had a double deck bed, but to sleep overnight that was more than enough. Breakfast is served in the hotel. Independence Square and Khreshchatik Street are around the corner. A lot of bars and inexpensive restaurants in the neighborhood.

Very nice hostel in a good location, close to the center. The lady was very nice, letting us pay the next day since we did not have enough cash with us. The room we booked was a private bunk bed and, although very small, was very clean, breakfast could be little bigger and I would not mind a coffe in the morning, but I understand it is a budget place and in Ukraine you can find lots of nice places...

I stayed there only a single night, laid low, went to bed. When I woke up the receptionist had noticed from my passport information that it was my birthday and sent someone to buy me a chocolate cake from a patisserie as a surprise. The cake must have cost almost as much as my fee. Have to say, that's the best service I've seen in 5 months of hostels.

Very spartan conditions! The premises are a hangar sheathed with plasterboard, divided by the same plasterboard into tiny boxes, with no windows. Exit to the street - only one door (this is for fire safety). One toilet, one shower, kitchen - a table with a microwave and a refrigerator in the corridor. You need to have your own dishes. I booked a single room, it was small but the bed was nice. Can't expect more for this price. The staff was very friendly even though we had communication problems as I don't speak ukrainian/russian yet. Defenitely recommend for travellers on a budget without high standards

This is a pastel not a hotel so it’s kinda what u expect. Less than ideal. The showers were definitely in need of some TLC. Water came shooting out of the hose. Oh well slept good anyway.

Good quality for the price, location ok. The main issue was probably not due to the hostel but the guests. Some men in the dormitory had such bad smelling feet that I couldnt spend any time awake there.

Not the best hostel i've ever been to. Staff doesn't speak english, and the matresses are not comfortable at all. The hostel only has one bathroom, so take this into account when traveling in a bigger group. Anyways, it was cheap and clean
