Good location in Truskavets. Oscar hotel gets the award for being the most Russian hotel in Truskavets. If you miss Moscow, this is the hotel for you. I planned a company staff retreat at this hotel more than a month in advance and reserved 6 large rooms. Just 3 days before our arrival the hotel unilaterally canceled my reservation. When I called to inquire the receptionist told me “it’s because Americans often make reservations then don’t show up so we canceled your reservations”. When I asked why they discriminate against Americans the receptionist doubled down to explain why she was justified in this action. The next day they offered 2 twin rooms which was not useful for my company. Thus, if you want authentic Russian style customer service and to be refused rooms because of your nationality then book a room at the Oscar.

It's located near the train station, a good location. There's also a movie theater nearby, and it's a twenty-minute walk to the water pump room, making it very convenient for getting to the city center. The hotel is large and beautiful.

We stumbled upon Oscar by chance, passing by from a hotel we'd previously booked, but the room turned out to be twice as expensive upon arrival. Oscar's prices are reasonable and the staff is incredibly polite! We checked in right away, even though it was only 11:00 a.m. They offered us a room with a bathtub instead of a shower. The rooms are clean and cleaned daily. Breakfasts are varied (omelettes/scrambled eggs/pancakes/syrniki/porridge/fruit slaw) included in the price, the portions are large, and everything is delicious. It was a little chilly, but we were comfortable. If you get cold, I think it wouldn't be a problem to bring an extra blanket. A special thanks to the girl at reception for everything. She recommended spas and restaurants, and we even gave her a discount because they're partners. We wish you good luck and prosperity!

Unreliable staff & reservations get canceled. Better to find another hotel in Truskavets. Cannot recommend.

A wonderful place. I wouldn't say it's cheap, but it's worth the money. The room was clean, the cleaning was excellent, and the staff were polite. The shower was large and had all the amenities. There was parking and security. The breakfasts were wonderful. There was an infrared sauna, plus massages. My family and I loved it.

Fine dining offering a large outside terrace with ocassional live music a more than adequate menu selection and very friendly staff. The Managment support meetings and conferences and host the local "meet the author" book events
